Liked everything about the property
The staff were very helpful and were quick with room service.
Only a small walk into the city centre.
The pool was a great way to relax especially with the steam room and sauna.
Service was fantastic from the moment we arrived. Reception greeted us and looked after us perfectly. Staff at breakfast were friendly and welcoming.
The pool, jacuzzi, stream room and sauna are excellent.
Breakfast is very good with lots of options.
Location is perfect for a visit to the city
Great location, good parking, £20 per night as a guest at the hotel, no one to greet you upon arrival but we knew this from the reviews, it’s fine reception is right there at the entrance, friendly efficient service, nice welcome, easy directions, club lounge was pleasant, clean and plentiful of all you needed, perhaps a biscuit or something sweet would of been welcomed, the room on the 3rd floor was modern, clean & spacious, a river view from the room which was nice, no turn down service available, clean bedding, brilliant water pressure from the shower, the room was a premium king sized, it was really nice, quick lifts, we didn’t try breakfast, we did try the spa, staff were friendly, bit dated, clean amenities, changing rooms are old but clean & checked, temperature had dropped outside and the pool water was cold, overall though we really enjoyed our weekend break, didn’t go there to check staff out so we didn’t notice any particular staff members standing out for service, it’s fair to say every member we come across was friendly and smiling, was it worth £350 per night ? Yes I think so for the location & the calming atmosphere so thank you for having us
Great room which was very central with excellent air conditioning. The pool was also really good with an excellent view from the spa pool of the Liver Building.
Central location and views of the river
No mini fridge
Very central, clean abd good facilities
Pillows need replacing
I’m very surprised how this property gets good reviews - it was one of the most basic, ordinary hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It was more reminiscent of an 80s country motel. It looks like a prison from outside - reviews said most rooms have a river view - ours had a main Rd/carpark view. The rooms, whilst reasonably sized, had tiny beds, garish carpet & inexplicably, no bar fridge 🤷♀️ the bathroom was an 80s horror, with a slippery over bath shower. The housekeeping was very slack - towels either not changed or thrown crumpled on a shelf. Bed made, but left cushions on the floor & rubbish on the side tables. The price, which was high was not worth it. The only positive was the friendly staff. Do not stay here
Service was excellent..Staff were very pleasant and the room was clean
Good location. Inviting foyer and bar area
Ladies toilets in the foyer a little dated - could do with an upgrade
