I liked how friendly staff were and how willing they were to help if we needed anything. Should you forget anything such as a razor you can ring reception and ask. The restaurant and breakfast were perfect and had something for everyone. If you’re planning on staying late like we had staff are at reception at all hours and will let you into the hotel.

Location is great, and the hotel is spotless. The bar and housekeeping staff were friendly. The receptionist was very accommodating when we asked to change from a room overlooking the noisy traffic to a quieter one.
The 4th floor room overlooking the river was below a fan or vent that low-key hummed the entire time. Not overpowering, but enough to annoy when trying to rest.
The room was completely airless, especially as the windows do not open even a crack, which was irritating.
We returned to a hot room after a sunny day, and turned on the aircon down to 16. After a nap, we woke to a boiling room, as the vent was pumping hot air. We complained to reception and they brought up a fan, which helped, but wasn't ideal. The staff member said she would look at the panel, but no-one came in the room, so we don't know what panel this was.
This is minor, but there were no rails to hang towels, and so would most likely cause guests to have them washed every day, which is not good for the environment.
Friendly staff, good facilities with the added bonus of having a pool / jacuzzi
Nothing
Location, cleanliness and facilities
I think we got charged twice for the parking, £20 and a further £26 to leave the carpark on departure.
Hotel is always great

Location
Pool looks tired
Hotel was only few minutes walk from all the shops. Very central location but quiet and peaceful. Rooms were clean, modern and had everything you needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again if in Liverpool.
We were taking a Fred Olsen cruise the next day, two minutes from cruise terminal. Excellent hotel, great staff, food pool rooms. I should not book so far in advance another time as it was much less the week before.
Lounge was good
