The bed was comfortable and location good
The decor was very dated. The sofa in the room was very uncomfortable. There werent many amenities.
The staff was very nice and accommodating for my dad and I. Beverly really helped me out when I needed a 2-bedroom last minute. Location is very convenient, and I overall recommend this hotel.

I travel a lot for work, and have experienced a wide range of accommodations and customer service. I love Chicago, and the Midwest warmth was on full display at Silversmith Hotel this past week, as we were in town for a conference.
Ms. Beverly was the epitome of personalized care, and allowed us to check in early. The front desk team was kind, accommodating, and swift in fulfilling requests.
The rooms were incredibly spacious, clean and comfy. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would return.
Location was amazing
We highly recommend this hotel and the staff was very welcoming. We especially enjoyed getting to know Beverly, Shaniqua and Enrique. They made us feel like we were family and made sure all of our needs were met.
Friendly and helpful staff
What an amazing hotel tucked into Chicago!!!! As soon as you enter the front door you are met with a beautiful lobby that can only be described as elegant. We were welcomed by Beverly and Lucia at the front desk and their charm just added to the ambiance. I truly do not think you could have a better duo as the public face of your hotel. Even the elevators have a creaky rattling charm as they bring you to your room. Because of a scheduling mistake on MY part we had a different room for both nights of our stay and both of them were the cleanest hotel rooms I can ever remember staying in. (They even have air purifiers in the rooms!). The hotel itself is on Wabash Ave. which can be extremely noisy because of the train that runs over the road, but the hotel manages to dampen the sound to an occasional low rumble that is more felt than heard.
This has become my go to hotel for Chicago and I hope to stay here many times in the future.

The room was nice and Beverly at the front desk provided excellent service at check in and beyond. The Italian bartender is very knowledgeable and friendly.
Celebrated a birthday with friends and family from multiple states. We had the best time and felt so taken care of by the Silversmith. All of the staff was wonderful, but Bev stole the show! She made our stay extra special.
