Comfortable facility, classy history, great staff
Horrendous construction around the property made access extremely difficult
I loved the art work around the facility. I loved the seating areas. The rooms were comfy. Everything was clean. And the restaurants attached were execellent.

I had such a lovely experience at the restaurant at The Crowne. The hostess & my server Amanda was amazing. So personal & friendly.

Great stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff, near great restaurants and shops in downtown Indy. Historic hotel with a lot of history. Restaurant is fantastic and Steve in the bar was amazing! Had great food and even better service.
Location is best for going to the Convention Center the Skywalk is very convenient
The restaurant wasn't the best as far as service goes
Amanda was an amazing server who elevated our dining experience!
Really close to convention center and good connection to other hotels people we knew were staying at. Really cool incorporating the train station with in the hotel.
THE CONSTRUCTION. inconvenience way to get in and out. Delivery and uber made drivers confused.
Amanda my server was great. She communicated with the Soux Chef Geraldine my preferences and my experience was awesome. Geraldine’s roasted chicken was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Amanda kept my water filled and checked on me throughout. Great job Amanda and Sous Chef Geraldine.
The train car aesthetic was fun.
We returned to our room on the third evening of our stay and our room door was wide open.
We had an amazing experience during our visit! Crystal was phenomenal and so knowledgeable at check-in! Cleanliness, history and easy access to nearby locations are just a few of the top hits of our stay.
Carmella at the front desk was outstanding in helping us resolve a room issue!
Great experience! Great atmosphere. Great service!
Amazing service! Will come back the rest of the weekend!!
The hotel is clean and beautiful...customer service was great. My friend and I enjoyed our stay. Rooms were nice with comfortable beds..Only issue we had was locating the place with the road construction happening at the moment. And if atleast we were warned or cautioned about the noise and shaking of the building as the train passes by, itwas kind of terrifying. But otherwise its nice.
The uniqueness of the train car rooms and the railroad themed decor.
Construction around the hotel and scattered in downtown was slightly and a challenge for cab drivers.
A pool also railroad station themed is a huge missed opportunity for the hotel. I’m sure it would come with numerous operating challenges but it could be designed in a very memorable manner.
We had our wedding at Grand Hall this weekend. I’m giving three stars because the event staff were incredible—the waiters, the coordinators, the bar staff went above and beyond and our ceremony and reception were amazing. Otherwise it would be a 1.
However, between the event staff and hotel staff, it was like working with two different departments for the same company that don’t talk to each other. So many issues with the hotel rooms and staff not caring, the most egregious of which was not accommodating my handicap father in law after we pre-arranged a room close to the elevator and it was confirmed again at check in. The room they did get was one away from being the farthest away from the elevator and had a broken faucet. Half our guests didn’t get welcome bags. I couldn’t speak to anyone at the front desk after calling three times on a Saturday at 7:30 from a hotel room and on the fourth call was told they couldn’t help because they didn’t have any carts at the front desk. My mother in law also asked to prepay for parking for several people and asked if she should pay up front when she checked in and they told her no, at check out. And then they wouldn’t give those guests their car keys because they said they were unpaid. The front desk also told my dad they comped his parking and then charged our credit card. And as the bride and groom we had one additional night in separate rooms on Friday and I was charged but never received an itemized bill. While our wedding was the day of our dreams, if I had to do it over, I would only book the hall and have nothing to do with the hotel.
Stop by the bar and see Kay, she’s the best!
