My mother and I stayed at this hotel on August 15, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely concerning.
I went to take a shower first and immediately noticed that the tub/shower floor was extremely slippery. There were no adequate non-slip/gripping surfaces and no grab handles to help prevent someone from falling.
When my mother stepped into the shower, she immediately slipped, did the splits, and fell face-first. We had to call an ambulance to have her evaluated. As a result of the fall, she broke her tooth, and the broken tooth went through her lip, requiring additional medical treatment.
What made this situation even more upsetting was how the hotel handled it afterward. I asked to file an accident/incident report and was told that they only do those reports for employees. I have since contacted both corporate and the General Manager of this particular Holiday Inn, and I have received no response whatsoever. They have not even acknowledged that this accident occurred.
Accidents can happen, but how a business responds afterward says a lot. We have been completely ignored and have had to deal with the medical consequences of this incident without even receiving basic acknowledgment from the hotel.
Please be very careful if you stay here. If you are injured on this property, based on our experience, do not expect the hotel to take the situation seriously or even respond to you.

Great location, beautiful views, nice outdoor pool, breakfast was very good.
We had 2 tv's in our room, but only 1 remote to control both...very difficult as if you tried to change something on one tv it would change something on the other tv as well

We had to take a shower in another room in the morning and were told that you were the ones who would have to give us a discount because of the inconvenience of the shower not working
The location, amenities, and overall facility condition was great for the price.
Breakfast was wonderful. However, I don't like the time limits now.
I don't believe it is necessary to charge $50 ,per room for things we might purchase during our stay. I wasn't aware of this, and I wasn't pleased
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved the comforter and pillows
Our mattress was not comfortable at all. I thought it was just my opinion but my husband can fall asleep anywhere complained about the mattress also. Not hard, not soft just bleh!
