Pros:

Even though there was construction on the main entrance, everything in my room was clean and prepared. I really liked how easy checkin was and that they had my name on the tv in my room welcoming me! I also really liked the use of texting me to make sure I had everything that I needed. That is a must practice that should become normal!!!
I was able to reach out and ask in advance about parking my vehicle, and whether they had any handicapped spots.

Cons:

there's a couple of trades things that need to be fixed in room 416, not major but still need doing.
Bathroom shower door is backwards. door tracks need to be reversed to stop water leakage onto floor.
Little reading light is not working on one Side of the king size beds, and the plug in sockets are so loose that my charger kept falling out.

Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn Richmond. The staff were very friendly & very helpful. The staff always make a hotel better.

Cons:

Minor renovations at the time of our stay, but didn't affect us much at all.

Overnighter Early Flight
Pros:

Great location for walking distance to Story Cafe, great happy hour. Perfect spot for an overnighter when catching an early morning flight. We did the bag breakfast and they were really good muffins and yogurt, coffee was available. Used the small exercise room, was sufficient for cardio. Nicely furnished room had a chaise lounger. The bathroom was really nice.

This will be my go to when flying out of Vancouver.

Cons:

None of the rooms would have a view, not necessary for our type of stay though.
