Hampton Inn - Vancouver Airport/Richmond

The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and beautiful linen. The buffet breakfast was good. Staff were extremely friendly, airport shuttle very good.

I would book Hampton Inns as a reliable airport hotel but unfortunately this one is showing its age and does not meet the usual standards of fit out or cleanliness I would expect.

Great Stay

Handy for the airport with convenient shuttle service, comfy beds, great shower. The staff were really helpful. Also close to the station into vancouver or to the airport and plenty of restaurants/ food options nearby.

Well, the hotel was going through a lot of renovations. Our room was great, one of the remodeled ones. Lobby was a mess and felt sorry for the front desk person sitting at a card table. Having said that staff was great, van driver on the way from the airport was an eagle and the staff were all professional, especially given the renovations. Breakfast was fine and the staff took care of business clearing tables and taking care of quests. Even with the challenges, the team there were great.

The location is outstanding. It is only about a 5-minute walk to the Bridgeport SkyTrain Station, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and a large supermarket is conveniently located across the street. Getting around Vancouver and Richmond was extremely easy.

The complimentary 14-seat airport shuttle was reliable and well organized. Both the airport pick-up and drop-off were punctual, making our travel completely stress-free.

Breakfast exceeded our expectations. It offered a good selection of Western-style hot and cold items, and everything was fresh and well prepared.

The facilities and overall service were exactly what we have come to expect from a Hilton property—professional, comfortable, and consistently excellent.

Although we are Hilton Diamond members, we booked a non-refundable reservation through a third-party platform because hotels during the FIFA World Cup period were almost fully booked four months in advance, and we wanted to secure our itinerary. Normally, third-party reservations are not eligible for elite member benefits. However, after communicating with the hotel before our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to receive an early check-in.

A very special thank you goes to Front Desk Supervisor Tammy Fisher. She was exceptionally warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. At check-out, she also made special arrangements to help us store our luggage. This was incredibly helpful because we planned to use this hotel as our base while traveling to several destinations and returning multiple times during our trip. Being able to leave some of our belongings at the hotel greatly simplified our travel plans, and we truly appreciated her kindness and flexibility.

We sincerely thank Tammy and the entire hotel team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Vancouver area. Hilton elite members should also consider staying here—even if booking through a third-party platform—because the hotel genuinely values its guests and provides outstanding hospitality.

Great place to stay! Clean rooms. Loved that there was a shuttle provided from airport to the hotel, but it would have been much better to also have a shuttle service included to take us to the cruise port! Breakfast was great! Highly recommend!

Good room close to airport with free shuttle service, breakfast and 12:00 checkout. Short walk to good choice of restuarants nearby with liquor store opposite.
