Upgraded to hotel next door, so no comment on Holiday Inn rooms.
Pros:

Can't actually rate the Holiday Inn because it was commandeered by the government for housing people who had been displaced by wild fires. We were upgraded to a room at the attached Staybridge hotel, which was excellent, but much pricier. So we can't speak of experience at Holiday Inn rooms or service, apart from what we saw in the reception area. We had dinner at the Perkins Restaurant next door. It is a basic family restaurant. The food was not great and the wine selection extremely poor. But if you're wanting breakfast there it has the full range of cooked breakfasts and I would have appreciated a breakfast there even though I didn't enjoy the dinner.

Pros:

We loved the entire stay. Friendly staff, gorgeous clean room with everything we needed.
Included an evening appetizer event; delicious and plentiful food...eating in a comfortable lounge area.
Check in and out was simple.
Very secure location close enough to downtown Toronto that we used an Uber but also super convenient with a shuttle to the airport.

Highly recommend

Cons:

We have nothing negative to say about this location.

Pros:

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

Cons:

We were listening some weird noises outside our room couple of times. We asked the staff to check if everything’s fine. They checked right away but still we wanted to switch floor/room. But, they were a bit skeptical about that and said that everything is good, must be the kids. But, I expected better customer service and they should have moved our room right away.
I thought there will be a breakfast buffet but it was just a meal. So was disappointed with that

Great stay in every way; would stay again
Pros:

Very nice hotel, comfortable beds, clean, very friendly staff. They allowed me both an early check-in and a late check-out at no extra charge, which was very appreciated. We also used their free airport shuttle which worked perfectly and on time. On-site full restaurant (where you get your included breakfast too), but also within close walking distance to other food choices (both fast food and sit-down options). Very clean gym & pool. Would definitely stay there again.
