Pleasant overall, but a few comfort issues need resolving.
Pros:

The property was clean and well-maintained, including my room. The staff were friendly and pleasant. The manager even allowed me to text with any questions and/or concerns. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

Cons:

The bed pillows are way too soft! No firmness, whatsoever. And the room couldn't maintain the same temperature for more than 15-20 minutes, at which time the A/C would kick-in. And the A/C was extremely loud....as in jet engine sound. And finally, the ventilation fan in the bathroom ran constantly (24/7), with no shut-off option. These issues caused me to toss & turn the entire night. I only really slept for approximately 2-3 hours.

Pricey for what you are not getting.

It is close to everything.

Cons:

There was a smell in the elevator which was really funky. I only got 1 channel on the television. For Sunday night the cost was a bit pricey.

Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and wished it had been longer. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Cons:

We checked in late so the pool was closed and didn’t open until 10 next day so we didn’t get an opportunity to try the pool

Beware plastic mattress protectors, please fix
Pros:

We have stayed here twice in the last week. It has been difficult to find a suitable hotel in the Sacramento area that checks all of our boxes. This one is one of the better ones. Especially we feel safe parking here. But one major problem with our last (second) stay was the king mattress was encased in a plastic zipper protector. The mattress pad and fitted sheet slid right off during the night. When I complained the next morning I was told that all beds would be this way in the future. There are mattress covers that are not krinkly and hot to sleep on, so I strongly suggest that Hampton find those. Otherwise, great stay, pleasant staff, big breakfast, all clean and comfortable throughout.

Pros:

This is the second time we've stayed at the Hampton inn & suites Sacramento and this time they had just completed a renovation which is very nice. The rooms are very nice here and the staff is super helpful and very friendly. The location is great because there are multiple dining options within walking distance. Plus the included breakfast is also very good. They have a very nice well-maintained pool and hot tub in a gated area outside and we used both while we were here. They have beautiful furniture and landscaping which just makes the overall experience that much better. .This hotel is very well run and very well maintained. They also offer 24-hour guest laundry which is reasonably priced and also well maintained. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, whether it's a business trip, family vacation, couples getaway, or just necessary means during your travels

Cons:

The one negative about this hotel is that other than the pool area there is not one place to sit outside. It would be greatly appreciated if they could put a couple benches out front and also either a couple benches or a table and chairs on the backside outdoor area, on the side of the property where the new construction is taking place next door.
