Room was clean and bed comfy

Was a mix up with half board we were told by 2 members of staff 1 drink included with the package and on check out needed to pay for the drinks which was a shame.
Staff friendly and helpful
Ooked a room with an extra bed, when we got to the room there was no pillows ,duvet or sheet for that bed.as we had been in to Cardiff and didn't get back till 12.30 in the morning having to wait another 45 mins for bedding wasnt idael
The staff were friendly, approachable and always willing to help. Communication was easy and professional at all times.
The location is very convenient for the ICC Wales, which can easily be reached on foot. The room itself was spacious and generally quiet.
Good breakfast
Unfortunately, my stay was significantly affected by several maintenance issues.
Within minutes of arriving, I realised that the air conditioning was not working. Staff were unable to resolve the issue and kindly provided a small fan instead, but it was barely effective beyond a short distance. The room remained extremely warm and uncomfortable, and I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and that no alternative room with functioning air conditioning was available. As a result, sleeping during the first night was impossible.
The bed linen also felt very synthetic, almost acrylic-like, and caused itching on contact with the skin. During the 3 nights, I ended up placing the cotton bathroom towels over the sheets in order to sleep more comfortably.
About an hour after my arrival, a technician came to repair the television, although I had not reported any issue with it. This was only a minor inconvenience, but added to the overall impression that the room required attention.
There was also a damaged curtain, a noisy minibar, and on my last evening I found a silverfish in the bathroom.
Despite reporting these issues within two hours of arrival and raising them again the following morning, apart from explaining that no alternative rooms were available, no further resolution was offered.
While I understand that the hotel was fully booked and a room change was not possible, I was disappointed that no gesture of goodwill, discount, or partial refund was proposed, considering the extent to which these issues affected my stay.

No aircon in passages, couldn't bath as drain so blocked plug would not close. Also black stuff came out the bath taps.
Friendly staff who actually seem to care about you! Excellently made-up room during a two day stay.
Decor beyond the lobby is tired, room dated and bathroom looking a bit elderly. Shower slightly dodgy and bathroom extractor fan noisy. Window in room had a notice 'out of order' on hottest day of the year (but aircon worked)
The reception food/bar facilities
Room was very outdated, very noisy with main corridor door beside room which didn't open or close properly meaning it was very loud banging evertime it was open and closed and shook the room door everytime it closed
ordered dessert which never arrived - staff apologies that they forgot.
