Comfy bed and a good shower.
The room was quite large but pretty standard for a multi national chain.
Our room had a nice view of Sainsbury's car park but the bonus was that there were no boy racers in it at night.
We weren't sure at first if this hotel was using special "Safety cutelry" or if the food was really tough.
Turned out to be a bit of both, the knives wouldn't cut through a slice of toast and the breakfast bacon was like leather.
We had tried their special Sunday roast on our first night and were both disapointed, especially when we later found out the price. Didn't eat there again apart from breakfasts.
We had gone for this hotel as the car parking charges seemed a little more acceptable than some other city centre establishments but should have bitten the bullet and paid a bit more to park.
Very enjoyable stay. Great location where you could walk into Nottingham in around 20 minutes along the canal via the Marina. £5 charge for secure parking for 24 hours was really reasonable. Staff very helpful and efficient. Twin room with 2 double beds was great.
The breakfast buffet was fine but the bacon was rock hard and clearly been sat there for a while. Nothing other tan that.

Location was quite far from rail station, ( 1 mile) city centre 1 mile and university of Nottingham (2 miles) where I attended a conference so taxis were essential.

Bathroom was very bad. They gave me accessible room. Because of 1 night stay I didn’t request a change.

Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's a nice hotel. Close to shops and basic amenities but not much around otherwise. Gym is small but well equipped. Good food menu.
