it was okay with fun notes from your friendly staff.
Pros:

The place was clear, the staff friendly and kind, the idea of the race course attrractive. Brilliant shower :-)

Cons:

The smell in the lift, the fact that I had 9 people book there on my recommendation and it is not noted as an IHG reward or points. The building needs painting, and modernisation is due, e.g plugs and usb c points. And why are there no options for a brighter light!

On the same site as the racecourse exhibition centre.

Cons:

Shabby decor, with flaked paint on walls and skirting. Bathroom door didn’t shut properly. Chair was frayed. Bathroom tap was stiff. Tv signal cut out. Lift stopped at the wrong floors and sounded like it needed maintenance. Radiator left on in the hallway, in spite of being in the middle of a heatwave.
Limited gluten free options for eating at the hotel.
It was not value for money for the price paid.

Exceptionally convenient location at the racecourse!
Pros:

It was very hot so the Air-con was very welcome. Room was larger than expected and bed was comfortable - could do with a choice of pillows as mine was rather on the hard side. shower was good.

Cons:

the double curtain on the shower was confusing. the bathroom could have done with a refurbish, couple of splits on panels, dark spots in corner of the shower - it seemed clean enough, but could have been better.

Close to centre, good parking

Cons:

It is quite dated. Bedroom outdated also and carpet was badly stained. Marks all down the wall which was dirty.

Home from home, relaxed and excellent.
Pros:

We loved everything, the staff across all facilities were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing too much trouble. Well done.
