Older property but very clean, staff very friendly, and pet friendly

Wonderful breakfast and breakfast staff. Wonderful front desk staff.

The staff was welcoming and helpful,rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The big annoyance is the ancient fan in the bathroom that sounds like the space shuttle taking off every time the light is turned on. The rooms and certainly the murky green pool could use some updating. Volenti restaurant across the street is very good.

Once again we had an amazing time last night when we stayed! The rooms are spacious with great amenities including the wonderful
"citrus" scented bathroom products! The pod coffee makers are a huge plus along with mini fridge and microwave (an item some fancy hotels don't provide!)

The breakfast was ample & tastya with such a large variety of hot and cold items to choose from. This morning it was eggs, ham, sausage and even French toast!! Yummy 😋

There was an issue with the pool (looking quite green) needing some extra shock or chlorine, buy maintenance was outside in the evening trying to get it fixed. Howevee, this is a very common occoruance in the hot changing temperatures between Spring & Summer months!

And again, our night staff, KJ and Roxy we very accommodating!! As Best Western reward members we received 2 bottles of ice cold water and a snack to pick from for our room. And our requests of extra creamer & coffee pods were immediately provided! Your night staff is the best & most friendly of most places we've had to stay recently...which keeps us returning for the 4th time in a row now!

We chose this hotel because it’s just a couple of miles from my in-laws, and it worked well for our needs. The property is definitely a bit dated, but it’s clear that it’s well cared for—everything was clean and properly maintained.

We stayed in a one-bedroom king suite, which felt very spacious for the three of us (and would comfortably fit four). The bedroom included a chair, which was a nice touch so we didn’t have to sit on the bed. The bed itself was very comfortable, and the dresser easily accommodated all our clothes for a five-night stay.

The living room had a two-seater sofa bed (we didn’t use it as a bed, but it was comfortable for sitting), along with a large work desk and chair that made it easy to get work done. There’s also a mini fridge, microwave, and plenty of shelf space for storing food, though you can’t cook in the room.

The bathroom is on the smaller side, and it would have been more functional if the toilet and tub were separate. The toilet is positioned very close to the counter, which makes the layout a bit tight.

The pool is small but looks nice. We didn’t use it since it was too hot in May, but the interior-facing rooms overlook a courtyard with the pool and palm trees, which gives it a pleasant, almost resort-like feel. There’s also plenty of free parking, which is a big plus.

Breakfast was excellent by hotel standards. We really appreciated the variety and the fact that the hot options changed daily—items included sausage, bacon, eggs, French toast, corned beef hash, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, along with boiled eggs, cereals, breads, bagels, muffins, juices, coffee, fruit, and more.

In terms of location, Phoenix is quite spread out, but this hotel is conveniently located near Scottsdale Airport, the golf course that hosts the Waste Management Open, and the Mayo Clinic. There are also plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. As with most U.S. cities, having a rental car makes getting around much easier.

KJ is wonderful. He was so professional and polite and listened to my wants and did his best to help me get situated and comfortable. What a great experience. I love this hotel.

Staff was kind and breakfast was great.

We liked the breakfast and there was a very nice older male employee who provided us excellent customer service in the breakfast area. I did not get his name but he made it a much better experience. We will be staying there again!

Our room was comfortable. Nice and big with separate sinks! Bonus! The location was quiet with easy access to everything from the pool to the ice machine. We really enjoyed the homemade cookies!

Dynamite service overall. Breakfast attendants and bartender were the bomb.
Very large rooms.
Free parking and 2 newspapers to choose from in the morning.
Always have chocolate chip cookies in the lobby.
All staff really seemed to care.
