The floors in the room felt dirty,

As a former GM, AGM & Executive Housekeeping Manager with many years in the hotel industry I was very disappointed at the overall cleanliness, and public area upkeeps. When the power went out in my home a made a same day reservation at this hotel due to how close it was to my home. From the outside/ entrance it looked well kept. However, while waiting in the lobby while the front desk agent was assisting other customers an older man was at the vending machine in his shirt, underwear, and socks. That was the first thing that gave me the impression of what to expect at this establishment. When it was my turn to check in, everything was fast, informative and very refreshing. Surely if I were still working in the industry, KD would have been someone I would want at my establishment! He is just a gem! He tried his best to accommodate my needs for me and my three children who were with me. There were no pans or cups left, but I did get the bottom floor accommodation I requested. The lobby was clean, the hallway leading to my room was clear and free of any trash or anything. The housekeeping and general upkeep of the appliances and amenities is ANOTHER story! Upon entering my room I saw that was booked as a queen size bed looked like a full size with a pullout couch. The pullout couch bed looked bigger than the actual bed! The pullout bed is placed by the front door so that mean that for safety reasons, my children would have to sleep in the bed and I would have to sleep on the pullout couch. The comforter on the "queen size" bed had a small blood stain on it along with the linen for the pullout coach bed. The bathroom door was chipped and did not close all the way without having to push up against the door. On the back of the bathroom door and the wall was yellow streaks of dried up liquid! It was the nastiest feeling room!

No kitchen ware

Unfriendly staff, lots of trash throughout the hallway there were absolutely no pots pan dishes for an extended stay, it was charged for my room twice after showing a receipt and confirmation number…..

TV in bedroom malfunctioning. Shower knob fell off, Rate was 4x inflated for concert event.

The entire hotel reeked like weed. Our room hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival. The floor was slippery / slimy, our room smelled damp and greasy, I honestly don't even know how to describe it. There were clusters of dirt all over the floor, receipts from previous tenants underneath the couch that hadn't been cleaned. Overcast from the trash can all over the walls. It was just a disgusting room overall. If we hadn't arrived at 1:00 in the morning and I got to see everything in the daylight we absolutely would not have stayed there. I complain to management and they did end up giving us 20% off our stay which was appreciated but It was still so disgusting.

We booked a queen, the bed was a full. I shouldn’t had to clean the room:
1) tub/sink had hair
2) floor was dirty
3) no pots, dishes, etc
