Love The Grace Hotel.
It’s our “go to “ place to stay when we are in Sydney.
It’s close to transport and shopping.
We did have a few issues but at the end of the day we still really like the hotel
Was a bit disappointed that when we arrived early and asked if our room was ready by any chance we were told there was a room available but we would have to pay an early check in fee ($50)if we wanted to check in at 11am. The majority of people who check into hotels have been travelling and would appreciate going to a room.
We were staying 5 nights too.
I can’t fathom why if you would pay that ( and have never been told that before) if the room was vacant anyway. Just a money making exercise!
We also had a couple of days when we had to chase up towels, toiletries and mini bar.
Breakfast was a little disappointing. Not much left at 9.30am in the way of fresh fruit and not much variety with the fresh fruit.
Staff to refill food that is very low or empty for breakfast.
Room was spacious but could do with a larger table for dining. Bed was comfortable.
The need to make separate orders from multiple venues, when the menu wasn't very diverse anyway. The steak sandwich was awful. The pool is not heated. The breakfast dining was sub standard for such a heritage central hotel.

Great location friendly staff
Beds were very saggy. Pool not heated.
Great stay in a super central location, with easy walking access to Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and we really appreciated the charming old-hotel vibe. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We got stung by the parking fee. Would think again as to value of accommodation, as parking fee was not disclosed prior and turned out to be very expensive.
