Lovely place for a night or two
Pros:

Lots of history, facilities on site, great heated rooftop pool and restaurants. Great breakfast in particular!!

Lovely staff, made us feel at home and safe. Great to find a peaceful place on the heart of a chaotic city

Cons:

Slightly dated rooms and a bit annoying entrance with access from security measures

Pros:

The hotel, history and staff were incredible. The senior Concierge Steve took us on a hotel tour describing historical facts where visitors like Queen Elizabeth, Ernest Hemingway, Karen Blixen, and many many more stayed. Having a drink in the original Kenyan Stock Exchange which us now the Long Bar was pretty cool. I simply loved the rooftop pool and bar. If ever in Nairobi again I would choose to stay at the Sarova Stanley again.

Ideaal verblijf om even lekker gepamperd te worden

De service is het meest opvallend, maar alles is top aan dit hotel. Mooie ruime kamer, goed ontbijt, verschillende restaurants.

Als vrouw alleen vond ik het wat minder fijn om alleen buiten te zijn ‘s avonds. Maar daar heeft het hotel niets mee te maken.

Very nice staff everyone went out of their way for me especially the lovely people in the bar….

The electrical switches in the room were a bit wonky but that may have been me not being aware of how things work in Nairobi

AMAZING! Mann soll bei Ihnen sein um das Wort "Relaxing" zu verstehen!
Pros:

1/ Das Personal: unglaublich gut!
2/ Das Lounge chef... Danke vielmals! (Und als ich vielmals sage gibt es nicht genug Mals im Viel!!!!)
3/ Die Massagen: Eines das bestes Erlebnis meines Leben. Wie kann es sein dass Sie so gut arbeiten?
4/ Die Restaurante: wunderbare ist auch nicht genug so schreiben!
5/ Das Bar: Bitte warten Sie, ich komme wie bald wie moeglich zurueck um einen von Ihre Ueberraschung Cocktail zu geniessen !
6/ Die Ambianz, Toll toll toll!
Fast alles war 100% super!

Cons:

1/ Bitte, nicht mit der draussen Hairsallon arbeiten... es ist nicht an der niveau von dem Hotel. Sie muessen viel besser finden!
2/ Es gab ein zwichenfall mit dem textilreiningung. Ich habe der Laundry vor 10 AM draussen gelassen. Es ist zurueck in der Zimmer gekommen... aber war nocht gemacht. Ich habe es nicht immediat gesehen und es ist ein Problem spaeter fuer mich geworden.

The best hotel, with the friendliest staff, I've ever stayed in. I hated to leave!
Pros:

On Sept. 2, during our 11am or so check-in, I tripped and fell up the step trying to look at the safari vehicle in the lobby. MANY employees rushed to my aid, lifted me bodily to a chair and hovered solicitously until I felt steady enough to walk. One particular employee, Millicent, who had been checking us in, spearheaded the rush to my aid, and remained with us, drying my tears and eventuarlly walking us to our room. I saw Millicent a few other times during our stay and she never failed to ask after my wellbeing. Her kindness was one of the many things I'll always remember about our stay at the Sarova Stanley.

Regresamos otra vez después del safari, ya nos gustó cuando llegamos a Kenia. Sin duda volveríamos a hospedarnos. Toda una institución en Nairobi. El mejor del centro.
