Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam Hotel

Came to the hotel for a Coffee and the service was amazing.

Excellent breakfast elite the food is awesome. The selection is perfect of the breakfast. The view of the canal from the restaurant windows very memorable. Thisis definitely a five star hotel and restaurant staff goes above and beyond for service. Highly recommend.

Strategic location in the middle of the capital. The service was exceptional and the room is huge, comfy and convenient. Full amenities and luxurious. The view is fantastic and picturesque.

We were at the Tivoli Doelen Hotel in Amsterdam. We had a very nice view of the canal. Even though the room was small and barely enough room to put our suitcases on the floor, we enjoyed the hotel and especially Marta Barros Rodrigues who was so nice and always there to help and to make us feel at home. Tge dining room was also lovely and delicious breakfast.

We had an amazing stay in Amsterdam at the Tivoli Doelen. The service was extremely attentive and the breakfast by the canal was so delicious! The location is also perfect for sightseeing the city.

Excellent location and old world charm. We had a room overlooking the canal and the French doors opened so it was lovely to hear the ambient noise. The hotel is walkable to almost any where you want to go. We didn't interact with the front desk much but the team in the bar was fantastic. The manager gave us many recommendations for dinner, bars and places off the beaten path. We need a mattress topper for our bed as it was too firm and it promptly arrived and installed by housekeeping.

This was a beautiful hotel, and the staff were friendly, professional, and very welcoming. The location was central and made it easy to get where we needed to go. I would highly recommend it.

We visited with three couples and checked in for a few days before a cruise. The location was central to everything we wanted to see and do. We walked, and took the tram and metro to museums, neighborhoods and restaurants always feeling safe. The hotel staff is pleasant and attentive and the rooms are perfect. We stayed on the top floor with a balcony overloooking the canal and it was lovely to sit out in the morning and evening. Our reservations included breakfast which was plentiful, quality and delicious—and served in windowed room with a calm atmosphere overlooking the canal. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again. This is the second Tivoli property we have stayed at in Europe, and we are quite pleased with the brand.

Everything was wonderful from the very first step into the hotel!

We were welcomed by Annia at the reception desk, who was incredibly polite, friendly, and professional. In fact, all the hotel staff were attentive, welcoming, and always ready to help with any request.

Our room overlooked the canal, and the view was absolutely beautiful 🥰 The room was spotless, fresh, and free of dust. The bathroom was also impeccably clean, which is something I particularly appreciate.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant with an à la carte menu, complemented by a small buffet. There is also a great selection of freshly squeezed juices to suit every taste.
The Eggs Benedict deserve a special mention - simply the best I’ve ever had! 🤌🏼 I’ve tried this dish in many countries, and these were truly outstanding.

We left with only the most pleasant impressions of this hotel. I’m sure that on our next visit to Amsterdam, we will happily choose this hotel again!

We loved our stay at the Tivoli in Feb 2026-so much we had a small travel change and decided to stay an extra night. The room was small, but very nice and we felt incredibly lucky to have the gorgeous canal view. However the thing that put this hotel over the top was the extremely high level of service and hospitality. Marta greeted us upon arrival and made us feel completely and totally welcomed throughout our whole stay. The breakfast was fantastic and we were able to snag a table by the window each morning so we could enjoy looking at the boats float along the canal. The location was nice-15ish min walk to the sights, but was calm. We would definitely return to the Tivoli without hesitstion

You won't make a mistake booking this hotel. It was lovely, and right on the canal in the city center. The location was great, the breakfast each morning was delicious, and the staff was absolutely helpful and kind. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. My advice is to book a canal room (I loved watching the boats go by) and include breakfast in your room.
