Location was excellent for all activities in Amsterdam including to and from Amsterdam Central Station. All the employees of hotel were very attentive to all our requests. Even the Tourist hospital was 8 walking minutes away
Excellent staff, great service. Breakfast buffet was very good and included in our stay
Beautiful room. Friendly staff. Besutiful decor. Love the history. Felt very welcomed.
Wonderful experience in a boutique hotel. The welcome Champagne, the complementary happy hour with smoked herring, and the breakfast all contributed to a wonderful experience. The influence of influential
Dutch artists in the hotel’s decor and food menu really added to the charm and authenticity of a historic experience in the city’s oldest hotel
Amazing hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. I stayed in a fabulous room on the fifth floor with a beautiful canal view. The bathroom was spotless and impeccably maintained. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding, thanks not only to the excellent food quality but also to the exceptional service provided by Arrate, Dani, Rose, Emeric and Illia. Highly recommended.
Розташування чудове, прибирання в номерах було щоденне, велике комфортне ліжко, сніданки прості але дуже смачні, персонал приємний.
Єдиний мінус це маленькі номера.
The sophisticated finish of the property and location to walkable areas as well as canal views. The front desk staff was amazing as well as the bellman who recommended restaurants, a barber , tours and shops. Very kind to offer coffee while we waited for room to be available.
The breakfast dinning room staff is very attentive to rapidly remove plates yet never offered a refill on coffee. They are amazing and responsive when asking for something but did not proactively engage related to coffee and water refills.
We had dinner at omber and was amazing! Loved the cocktails! Everything was amazing !!
My wife and dined at the hotel restaurant. We saw the Michelin plaque outside hotel and assumed it was for the restaurant. The food was not as good as expected given the 5 star rating if the restaurant. The service was subpar. My wife complained about finding a bone in her fish. The waitress was dismissive. To make matters worse the lobby of the hotel had a feint odor of sewage. While waiting outside for my wife I was the victim of an attempted robbery.. it is our first visit to Amsterdam. Don’t know if the hotel is in an unsafe area or this just bad luck.
Nice location, lovely staff and great food.
There was too much light in the bedroom. The street outside was very noisy with drunk people and, from 5am, there was rubbish collection of glass bottles. In short, it was impossible to sleep.
Great hotel and experience. Only negative comment would be concerning the cigarette butts at the hotel sidewalk area. Very disgusting.
My stay at Tivoli Hotel was one of those experiences that reminds you what true hospitality is supposed to feel like. From the moment you arrive, there’s a warmth in the atmosphere that goes beyond the beauty of the hotel itself. The property blends elegance, history, and comfort so naturally, while its location makes it easy to explore the city and still come back to a place that feels peaceful and refined.
What makes Tivoli special is not only the hotel, but the people behind it.
Marta from Guest Relations was absolutely incredible. She has that rare ability to make guests feel genuinely cared for, not just attended to. Every interaction with her felt personal, thoughtful, and sincere. She carried herself with professionalism and kindness that truly elevated the entire stay.
Every morning started beautifully thanks to Emanuel at breakfast. His energy, attentiveness, and warm smile created the kind of atmosphere that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. He made guests feel welcome in such a natural and effortless way.
And Alejandro… honestly, he deserves special recognition. Even without being an officially certified concierge, he delivered a level of service that many luxury hotels would be proud of. His recommendations, willingness to help, and passion for making guests happy were exceptional. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that kind of authenticity is hard to find.
There’s something timeless about Tivoli Hotel. It carries elegance without feeling pretentious, luxury without losing warmth, and service that feels deeply human. It’s not just a hotel you stay at — it’s a hotel you remember because of how the people there make you feel.
Tivoli Doelenstraat Amsterdam, we stayed for two nights, the staff were lovely and very accommodating.
Our room was lovely with plenty of room, the bathroom was spacious and easy to use.
We had a wonderful stay here. Very central to everything. Walking distance to a lot of tourist spots. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They gave us Kate check out. Would recommend the hotel to anyone who is visiting the city
