We used the hotel as a half way stop off on our way to Cornwall and was very happy with the hotel, breakfast and simple check out.

Exeter ist attraktiv zu erlaufen: Kathedrale, Museum, High Street Shoppingmeile, Flussuferwege.
Pros:

Trotz der Nähe zu Verkehrsströmen ist die Lage ruhig und grün. Das Haus ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind groß. Die Betten und Installationen funktionieren gut. Das Frühstück war schmackhaft und gut. Jenseits der nächsten Straße liegt ein Park & Ride Parkplatz (außer Seh- und Hörweite). Deshalb gibt es eine gute Busanbindung zur Innenstadt. Parken ist in GB überall teuer; hier am Hotel ist es mit Rabatt erträglich.

Cons:

Das Wetter wurde kühl. Dadurch stieg die Luftfeuchtigkeit, was sich im Zimmer nicht gut kontrollieren ließ. Das Fenster war nützlich zum Lüften, aber die Kimaanlage schob Luft, ohne merklich zu wärmen. Im Restaurantteil blies der kühle Luftstrom fortwährend. Das Haus war etwas schwierig zu finden: Es gibt eine Stelle und einen Blickwinkel, aus dem man es gut sehen kann, aber kaum aus dem Auto bei der Anfahrt aus anderer Richtung.

It was pretty good overall given circumstances of just needing a room for the night due to flight cancellation

Standard Holiday Inn... no parking
Pros:

It had standard comfy beds and clean bathrooms.

Good selection of breakfast food. Pleasantly surprised that they had bagged Gluten Free cereal at breakfast time.

Cons:

Advertising parking and then to find out on arrival the parking is paid (£14 per day) is a little deceiving and when raised the staff just mentioned "Well we don't own the car park so..." which seemed to be the whole explanation.

The breakfast was good but finding space to sit was an issue. The dining space seemed very minimal and if there was a free table it would have plates still on them.

Pros:

Nice welcome from Matt on arrival. My first experience of staying at a Holiday Inn. Room similar to Premier Inn/Travelodge style. Very clean, spacious and functional.

Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Cons:

Could do with more Dining Room staff. No choice of table on arrival for breakfast. Had to use one right by the television. All smaller ones nearer to the buffet area were totally full of remnants of dirty plates etc from previous guests.

Easy to get to, smooth and quick check in and out.

Cons:

Outdated feel overall. Sink was smelly. Disappointing the need to pay for parking when the car park is huge and within the same facilities, it feels like an easy way to make money

The staff were very friendly and welcoming!
Pros:

We loved how hospitable the staff were with our dog - she got her very own welcome bag! We also really enjoyed the breakfast!
