Overall it was adequate, but not without some rather concerning and unfortunste misunderstandings
Pros:

Breakfast was a highlight, but we did not have time to partake as we had to catch an earlier shuttle to the airport on our second day's stay.

Cons:

My friend was unable to check in until I arrived on the second evening of our stay.

Quick business stay
Pros:

Jennifer took care of everything. It's always nice to see a familiar face especially when they go above and beyond every single time. I can't thank her enough.
Pool was nice. View is pretty nice especially at night (less noise traffic). Breakfast is ok but could improve a bit.
Bahama Breeze will hopefully get revamped and have a better menu. They have a nice relaxing and convenient location so better food options would be great.

Great customer service
Pros:

We arrived in the midst of a storm in the area which knocked out the elevator. We have mobility issues and Jennifer did everything she could do get us on the 1st fl. On return we booked the wrong night. Here again Jennifer worked wonders and found us a room. Travel is stressful enough but to have someone like Jennifer makes it easier. Thank you, Carolyn and Jerry

Pros:

This hotel was not worth the price. We received no cleaning service and our room had bugs. Garbage was visible in halls by elevator and every time we needed bedding, towels, or toilet paper, we had to go to the front desk. Unacceptable for the prices charged. The only good thing was the free breakfast and airport shuttle. I would not stay again.

Excellent in general
Pros:

I had a very good stay at this hotel overall. One of the best things about it is the location. It is conveniently located between Clearwater and Tampa, with easy access through the highway. You can enjoy the beach and relaxing time in Clearwater during the day, then head to Tampa in the evening to walk around the riverfront and enjoy the city atmosphere.

Another great advantage is the free parking, which was very convenient. Also, the hotel is close to Bahama Breeze, a very nice restaurant with live music at night and a great atmosphere for dinner. The room view overlooking the lake was beautiful and made the stay even more relaxing.

The breakfast was also good and satisfying.

Cons:

the beach/pool towels were a bit too small, especially if you want to take them to the beach. Bigger towels would make the experience much better. Also, the hotel price is slightly on the expensive side.

We were disconcerted with check-in procedures.
Pros:

The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good the first day, but we were unable to partake on the second stay because it did not begin until 6 am, and we had to pick up the shuttle to the airport at 6 am.

Cons:

We had two stays at the hotel. One on Friday night, and then on Monday night. We msde this clear to the staff member who checked us in on Monday. My friend's name wasn't included, so that she could pay for the next night we stayed at the hotel. We were unhappy with the way this was handled. My friend had to wait in the lobby for hours until I got back from an event about 10-15 miles away. It was rather late in the evening, and she was tired.
