Für eine Übernachtung ohne Frühstück 216.00 Euro ist schon sehr "sportlich".....

Direkte Flughafenlage sehr gut. Checkin war unkompliziert und schnell erledigt

Cons:

Abgestellte Heizung am späten Abend, Badezimmer entsprechend sehr frisch....Das Bett war für unser Empfinden zu weich

Very disappointing experience – What happened to Mövenpick?

I booked the Mövenpick Hotel at Nuremberg Airport for one night, paying €185. I chose this hotel for two main reasons: first, the gym, and second, its convenient location directly at the airport. I also associated the Mövenpick name with a certain level of quality, comfort and luxury.

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.

When I arrived, I was informed that the gym was closed due to a burst water pipe.. Of course, I understand that unexpected technical problems can happen and that these things cannot always be planned for. However, when I explained that access to the gym was actually the main reason I had booked this relatively expensive hotel, I was disappointed by the complete lack of customer service or goodwill. Not even a complimentary drink at the bar or another small gesture of apology was offered.

The room itself didn't improve the experience. I had to ask reception for a multiple socket adapter because there were not enough accessible power outlets. The kettle had nowhere convenient to be plugged in, and even the desk lamp could not be connected to a power socket.

And then there was the bed – a fold-out bed stored inside a cupboard, rather than what I would expect from a hotel charging €185 per night.

Honestly, I found myself wondering: What has happened to Mövenpick?

For that price, I expected a much higher standard of accommodation, facilities and, above all, customer service. I have never paid so much for a single night in a hotel before, and I certainly didn't expect such a disappointing experience.

The airport location is convenient, but that alone does not justify the price.

Unfortunately, this stay was nowhere near the standard I associate with the Mövenpick brand. I would definitely think twice before booking again.

Für einen Aufenthalt am Flughafen absolut zu empfehlen
Pros:

Die Lage zum Flughafen ist spitzenmässig. 2 Minuten Fussweg. Das Personal war super freundlich und aufmerksam

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen (z.B. der Fussboden -Teppich)
