Overall it was a good for a short term stay.
Pros:

This place was a good one-night stay. Location is perfect, as a tourist one could not have wished better. It is right in the middle of historical centre. Breakfast was also good, it was a nice variety. Also we liked that there were water stations to refill water bottles.

Cons:

Our room was overlooking inner courtyard with a driveway to underground parking place. Everytime the garage door opened (which was plenty throughout the day and sometimes night) it was pretty loud. We stayed on the 1 floor , so it was pretty loud and disturbing, especially early in the mornings. I guess this is not a problem, if the rooms are looking to the steetside. Rooms were small, but good and clean. There was no fridge.

Great location and nice hotel
Pros:

This location is perfect for exploring the area. The Sao Bento train station, the Bolhao Market, Ribeira, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We had 2 twin beds and each had our own desk so lots of room. And the balcony overlooking the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about.

Pros:

Nos sorprendió las modernas instalaciones de este hotel y su estilo modernista. Excelente ubicación y el trato del personal, pese a que no hablamos portugués, no tuvimos ningún contratiempo. Nos gustaría volver a esta encantadora ciudad y sin duda volveríamos a este hotel.
