I have stayed in many Mövenpick hotels around the world, and this is the first time I am leaving a negative review.

The heating in the room did not work at night, and the staff refused to help, saying they were alone at reception. After 10 PM, there was no food available anywhere, even the minibar was empty. There were no slippers in the room, and despite requesting them, nobody brought them.

The next morning, instead of apologizing, the staff were arrogant and said: “We are a 4-star hotel, not a 5-star hotel.”

As someone who visits Geneva often, I will definitely not stay here again.

“Disappointing Service Despite Spacious Rooms”
Pros:

Spacious rooms but very poor service. Staff do not speak English, making requests difficult. Cleanliness and maintenance were subpar—my sink was clogged and never fixed. Overall, not worth the price compared to other hotels in the same area.

Pros:

I stayed for two nights on a business trip, and the experience was genuinely smooth from start to finish. The staff was consistently friendly, polite, always smiling, and ready to help with anything.

My room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite the airport proximity. The mattress was on the firmer side, which I personally appreciated after long workdays.

Breakfast was excellent — plenty of choice, fresh products, and everything well presented. A perfect way to start the day.

The location is ideal if you need quick access to the airport. The free shuttle is a huge plus, and even at 5 AM it ran right on time. It's located 10 minutes (walking distance) away from a train station that helps you to reach the city center in a few minutes. Do not forget to ask your free public transport card.

Overall, a very solid choice for business travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and genuinely kind service.
