Great staff and clean room
My husband and I shared a 2 bedroom, 2-bath suite with our daughter and son-in-law. This is a great family hotel. The shuttle service to and from the RDU airport was a definite plus for us. The staff was really helpful and accomodating.
The fireplace didn't work because they don't turn on the gas until November. We were there at later October, but the temps went down to the 40s at night and a fireplace would have be a plus.
It was close to the airport and off the beaten path. But there are better hotels in the same area. I chose it for the price and because of its very close (5 min) distance to the airport for my early flight.
It was ok. The room was clean but it was extremely musty smelling. I only had to sleep there so overall it was ok.
The kitchen was clean, bathrooms were clean as well and the decor was modern. It was a great stay.
Location, the airplanes flew over and made it noisy from time to time.
Clean room, comfortable bed, nice shower, close to the airport.
Arrived at 12:30 AM after an international flight to find the door locked and the lobby deserted. It took a couple of minutes of ringing the buzzer before someone finally let me in. There were no clothes hangers in the closet. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. The electric plugs in the nightstands did not work. The half and half at breakfast was curdled.

Breakfast was good. Bathroom and shower good. Tv good.
Worker at check in looked annoyed and breakfast lady wasn’t very nice. Couch bed had no linens, pillows or blankets. There was something nasty on the carpet under the ottoman, I picked it up and threw in trash.
Just love this place
Room was not ready at check in. Plumbing and electrical issues in our room. Maintenance did not respond to our first request to fix electrical issue. Not enough staff at front desk during checkin.
When we checked in, the room was very clean. But during our six-day stay, no one came to clean us. We returned the towels ourselves and got new ones. Overall, the staff was friendly.

Shuttle was great!
Great property and the front desk team is one of the best I have ever experienced. Anita and Mindy were so kind and friendly. I was in North Carolina for an interview with a local solid waste company and they were so helpful to get me a room early to prepare, spoke very highly about the Carolinas and were so polite and friendly. Anita and Mindy told me I would get the job since they felt I was a good people person too, and they were correct! I got the job and will be moving to North Carolina soon. Thanks Anita and Mindy! The room was excellent too and it was super clean and upscale. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sonesta team for making me experience at the hotel excellent.
