We’ve stayed at this hotel several times, mainly because of its convenient location close to Redmond town and just a short 5-minute walk to the Overground, which makes getting around very easy.
However, our experiences haven’t been entirely smooth. On more than one occasion, including this recent stay, we were incorrectly charged a deposit. Although the refund was eventually processed, the process was unnecessarily time-consuming and required repeated follow-ups, took us nearly 3 weeks to receive the refund, which was frustrating.
The property itself is decent but shows its age, especially inside the rooms. Some refurbishment work has been done, but overall it still feels quite dated. Aside from the location, there isn’t anything particularly standout about the hotel.

Nice hotel, with a good location. Walkable to most places you need including coffee shops, supermarkets, shops, and restaurants. It had a good laundry, wifi worked well and it had a very good breakfast. It had a well stocked kitchen, which was very useful and quite unusual. Would recommend.

We checked in to our room and it was quite warm. We understand that usually they turn the AC off to save money. Absolutely makes sense. We got in our room kicked on the A/C and an hour later the room was actually hotter than when we checked in.
I called the front desk and was completely blown off. “You just have to wait for it to kick in”. No offer to check nothing. Not an apology just completely rude. He even suggested we just “open a window.” As I sit here the temperature has gone up another degree.
We’re going in the wrong direction. It’s already 9pm. How can you sleep in a sauna. Appalling response to our issue. Will absolutely never stay here again.

Large room, comfy sofa.
Great rooms, but you need to change the air/heat. The motion detection for air just doesn’t work well. We roasted the nights we stayed. I usually choose Marriott chains, but will not choose this again for the climate control reason!
