Staff make this place!
Pros:

Great location, staff were exceptional and so friendly…. Nothing was too much of a problem and really helpful. Staff made the stay !

Cons:

It’s a little dated and the showers went hot and cold but minor for the make up staff provided with customer service !

Cons:

The hotel is a bit outdated, don't love a shower curtain that sticks to you. I moved to another room which had upgraded showers though, maybe that s something that's updated step by step.

Pros:

Good value for money in a great location. Beds were really comfy, and we had a lovely view of the lake. Staff are really friendly and very accommodating

Cons:

Very clean, but outdated furnishings. Hallways smelt musty, and our hot water tap in tge bathroom needed a new washer. Had to go across the road to get a really good coffee.

A mixed review - comfortable stay but some improvements needed.
Pros:

We had a lake view room which was lovely to wake up to. Comfortable bed and decent size rooms with a spot for your suitcase. Breakfast was great - a real bonus. Delicious cocktails at the cocktail happy hour. Room service food was also very good and reasonably priced. Walking distance to town.

Cons:

The hotel is very old and dated. Needs a complete overhaul. However, as I said our room was comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and asked for our room to be 'made up' once during our stay. The bed was pulled up - not made and no cleaning is done at this point. There was also a strong BO smell in our room once the cleaning staff had left which was not pleasant. You could also smell this in the hallway when the cleaners were in the rooms. No extractor fan in the bathroom which meant the walls were dripping with moisture after a shower. Shower is in the bath so may be difficult for some people.

the bed was so comfortable and the room was very quiet. we slept in every morning. Friendly staff and great food in restaurant.
We got a room update to a suite for our wedding anniversary. nice surprise!
