Groups of young men running up and down the corridor between rooms, then the majority meeting in one room,which unfortunately was next to mine!
Since my visit, despite numerous phone calls, messages and emails, I have been unable to obtain an invoice for my stay.

Beautiful place, perfect location and just six minutes away from The Farmers dog . Just wish the taxi service was better

Decent hotel, need to keep on top of house keeping service.

Good location, easy access from car park and to rooms, excellent service from reception and breakfast team.

Cons:

Stayed for two nights, disappointed that the room wasn’t made up, cleaned and tea/coffee replenished at all.

Fine but watch for hidden charges

property was fine, cheap to stay and clean, bit dated but i wouldn't expect any more for that money

All was fine but on arrival I was told that I had to pay £6 to park.
I don't particularly care about £6 but I do have a massive issues with stealth taxes like this, yes, I'm sure that somewhere in the T&C's it says that there will be a charge, however, it doesn't state it on the booking page clearly and that's where it should be.
It would be like saying breakfast is provided and then charging for it .
If I'm staying in a city centre I expect to look at whether there are parking charges, this place is miles from town and is in a massive industrial area, no way anyone is going to walk there and not need to park a car.
If the price were stated as £6 higher I would still have stayed, and I wouldn't have left with a negative view of this company, super short sighted in my opinion.

Pros:

Old fashioned fittings, did not like shower curtain touching my body whilst showering. Stepping into the bath was difficult because of low mobility.
Very hot in room with only a fan… no AC

It was not clean used towels And the mattress was absolutely filthy Told staff and they had no more rooms available and did nothing to try and help me or my stay at the Copthorne Absolutely Disappointed with this and as I’ve complained many times thru the stay they still did not sort out the problem or a refund so gutted
