There was nothing to not like
Most of the staff at the Front Desk (esp. Donna), in the Restaurant (esp.Vicky) and in Housekeeping, were excellent! The rooms were clean & comfortable. The restaurant's main menu was varied and tasty.
The Executive Suite seemed a bit dated and needs an uplift, plus a walk-in shower, please!
Staff were really very welcoming and friendly. Always helpful. There were plenty of parking spaces available. The restaurant provided excellent quality food and service. The great breakfast options set up for a day out without having to look for lunch after. The terrace looked to be a lovely place to sit and relax although the weather wasn’t the best for that this time.
The room was a little dated and could do with refreshing but was fine for my short stay. The robe provided for the spa treatment was on the small side so I wasn’t comfortable to sit in reception waiting for the appointment as it was. I dressed in my own clothes instead. There was a lot of noise from nearby bars at night but that’s beyond the control of the hotel.

There was nothing that we didn't like
Room was clean, staff were helpful, facilities were nice. Breakfast seemed a bit slapdash and the free coffee machines for breakfast weren't great (coffee wasn't the best)
Some interesting people allowed to stay there. On departure there was a lady outside looking quite unhinged, swearing, pacing, yelling abuse who then proceeded to call me a c"not, which was just a lovely way to end our trip.
the bed was very comfortable and breakfast was really fabulous (freshly cooked scrambled eggs and granola. I was upgraded to a suite which was fabulous though really more space and facilities than I needed. I was only sad my visit was not longer.
Nothing really, everything was excellent.
