We’ve just spent two nights at the Copthorne Hotel. I booked it because of its great price and convenient location close to Legoland. I wasn’t expecting much, but I was completely surprised and so pleased that I chose to book here.
The hotel was comfortable, clean, and in a great location. The beds were incredibly comfortable—we genuinely had the best night's sleep we've ever had in a hotel. The staff were welcoming throughout our stay, and we ate in the restaurant one evening. The food was excellent value, very tasty, and you could tell it had been freshly cooked.
We would definitely stay here again. The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been if the pool had been open, so we’re looking forward to returning when it reopens.
The room itself was a little worn and could do with new carpets, but it was spotlessly clean, which more than made up for it.

We stayed here because we had a party to attend nearby - so it was chosen for ease of travel to Eton. There is a phone it lobby to order taxis, which suited us. There is a car park on site - albeit with a charge.
The rooms were a little tired/dated. We arrived in a heat wave and the air con wasn’t working in our room. They wanted to fix it, but after a shortish discussion they agreed to move us to another (pre-cooled) room.

Wasn’t an enjoyable experience overall. No complementary water in the room no fridge especially in these hot days. They give you drink vouchers to get you to spend more in the bar. Very strange management

Where it was.
Where do you start? Second time I've booked it, second time the leisure facilities are closed for renovation at this rate the builder must be making a fortune!!! The room after a "fresh up" had a toe nails on the floor, neither mine or my sons. The staff couldn't give a crap. It's all just about cash and no friendliness towards the customer. The shower facilities in the room are horrendous. If you're trying to get the one ring into Mordor then the water temp is quality. Once you've passed that test and found the switch to change the tap to the shower then be willing to cry when the now freezing water pours down on you whilst you hold the tap so the shower kicks in.
For the cost it's pish!!!!
The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. It was clean and looked beautiful. The breakfast was good quality and excellent quality. We were disappointed that the swimming pool was closed for refurbishment.
The only disappointment was the swimming pool was closed for reburb.
