Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location was close to my family member's apartment so I was able to walk there.
Found hair on the tray with the glasses and hair on sheets. Eww. Kind of set my stay looking for things like that. Apparently it was one of the rooms that had not been upgraded. The location couldn't be beat for my needs so I'll be sure to try one of the Silver Rooms next time.
Location was close to subway.
- The worst problem was the AC, specially in those few hot days in early July. The room was like hell and even hotter than outside. Even the staff couldn’t do anything.
- Also, it was smelling like humid and wet cardboard.
- Hot water wasn’t working in the shower.
- Terribly old and stinky hallways

It's a great location and a really interesting and ornate building. Very New York vibes.
Elevators could use an upgrade, but it looks like the management is actively making improvements to the building, so will probably get consistently better over the coming years.
