Great location! Fantastic staff.
Pros:

Staff were fantastic! Great location, beautiful river views.

Cons:

Beds were not amazingly comfortable, and an Irish double is not the same as a double in other countries. That said, we were upgraded to a king quickly and easily and had more room, thanks to the fantastic staff!

I highly recommend this hotel and looking forward already to rebooking
Pros:

A beautifully clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel. The management have obviously a great rapport with their staff who are trained to a very high standard.
There is ample parking and it is easy to walk into the Viking Quarter. Breakfast was great and the bar food was excellent and reasonably priced

Pros:

Breakfast was cold. there was dried blood on bed protector sheet. Second morning picked up cup and there was lip stick on it. There was no toilet brush in toilet

LOVELY LOCATION
Pros:

Beautiful location with a lovely view from our fourth floor window over the River Suir.
Comfortable room with a top quality bathroom.
Very surprised that there was no fridge in the room so very glad that my husband no longer had medication that needed refrigeration as not sure how he would have managed.
Fantastic breakfast & we ate here the three evenings we stayed & a big shout out to Bernadette who went above & beyond not just with us but with everyone she served. She was so helpful & friendly even through extremely busy times.
Once we got our bearings around Waterford we were so glad we chose this hotel as it was walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go!
Housekeeping was excellent although we did feel a bit rushed to leave in the mornings but if we gave them a time when were leaving, they were very accommodating.
I was a bit surprised as when we first arrived & asked if we could check in early, we were told the room was not ready so we left our suitcases & went for a walk.
When we came back again about nearer the check in time, it still was not ready which I now find hard to believe after experiencing the efficiency of the housekeeping staff!
Lovely clean hotel with lots of nice places to sit & relax inside & outside.

Upon check in there was no mention of breakfast/wifi etc as I heard the staff telling the couple in front all of this when they checked in but nothing said to us!

Nie wieder dieses Hotel!!

Zentrale Lage,

Cons:

Wir hatten für drei Nächte ein Executive Zimmer mit Frühstück für 250€ pro Nacht gebucht. Wir hatten schon bei der Buchung darauf hingewiesen, dass wir ein ruhiges Zimmer wünschen und dies beim online Check in am Vortag wiederholt. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer zum Parkplatz. Es war sehr heiß an diesen Tagen, da wäre eine Klimaanlage schön gewesen, das Zimmer war zu warm und stickig. Das Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen, da unmittelbar daneben ein großer Lüftungskanal verlief, der sehr viel Lärm verursachte und Tag und Nacht lief.
Wir waren früh da und baten daher an der Rezeption und doch ein anderes, ruhigeres Zimmer zu geben. Dies hat man uns verweigert, mit dem Hinweis darauf, man wäre ausgebucht, viele Gäste waren aber noch gar nicht angereist!! Wir hätten sogar ein kleineres Zimmer zum gleichen Preis akzeptiert, Hauptsache ruhig!! Es war nicht möglich, auch am nächsten Tag nicht, obwohl ein Gästewechsel stattgefunden hat! Wir verstehen das nicht!! Der Aufenthalt wurde uns daher total vermiest und es war gar nichts Gutes mehr zu finden. Die Nächte haben wir dann irgendwie überstanden und waren froh, als wir abreisen konnten! Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass das Hotel schlecht geführt wird, am freundlichen Personal lag es nicht!
Eins noch: Restaurant und Terrasse konnten wir nicht nutzen, da an zwei Abenden Veranstaltungen statt gefunden haben, und alles durch feiernde Gäste belegt, bzw. zu laut war!

We absolutely plan on staying again!
Pros:

Lovely view of the water, very comfortable rooms and pleasant, helpful, attentive staff. Dylan from the bar was the highlight of our stay on the first night, very friendly and talented barstaff, even when they were very busy with people watching the football he definitely looked after us. All the staff were great but we just happened to chat to him a but more.

Cons:

The single slightly negative remark to leave from our experience was the scanner for the room key to open the front door at night was broken and as night owls and smokers we hated to bother the night porter, but he was lovely and assured us he didn’t mind but hopefully for his sake it’ll be fixed soon, these things happen!
