An excellent place to stay in the heart of the city. Small but well arranged rooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. Decent coffee and a first rate range of breakfast options.
The view from my bedroom
Friendly and helpful staff
Teeny tiny room, lots of street noise 24 hours/day
Great location near subway stops and good shopping/eating. Very clean. Rooms were big by NYC standards
Surrounding street a bit dirty.
I absolutely love the location and the rooms with the bed in a nook in front of the window where you have a beautiful view over the city.
I’ve been staying at this hotel since it has opened and you can see the wear and tear. Floors in the rooms buckle. The upholstery in the rooms and lobby has stains. I wish they would update.
The room I was given - an upgrade to a King - was silly. The bed was completely against 3 walls and part of the fourth. There was no place to sit and hardly room to stand.
Also, the location is in Chinatown, not Tribeca, although close to the latter.
The wifi is to complex to get in. Too many people could not connect. At the cafre next door f.e. it was easy to access.
Room was small but clean, but also the AC did not work properly. Tooo cold or too warm. The fine tuning does not work.
I took a red-eye flight from the West Coast and arrived at the hotel around 7:00 AM. Edward and the other two gentlemen at the front desk were incredibly welcoming. Edward was able to get me into a room well before the standard check-in time, which I greatly appreciated after an overnight flight.
The staff at the lobby café were also wonderful—friendly and welcoming.
I was assigned a king room with a city view. The city view was great but I was shocked by how small it was - it was mostly the layout of the space that was surprising. I used to live in NYC, so I'm used to compact spaces, but for two people with 2 carry on suitcases, it was extremely difficult to move around. Often one of us had to sit on the bed or leave the room just so the other could access a suitcase.
The furniture also isn't scaled appropriately for the room. The armchair and side table take up valuable floor space and should be replaced with smaller pieces or removed altogether. There was nowhere to hang a hand towel, very limited places store clothing, and no space to keep suitcases open. A clothing shelf in the closet would make a big difference.
I ended up moving the oversized garbage bin and rearranging the room just so we could store both suitcases. Overall, the room was uncomfortable and not functional for two guests.
While the staff—especially Edward—made an excellent first impression, the room itself was a major disappointment. With a few thoughtful design changes, it could be much more comfortable and practical.
Best experience I’m a hvac techican who comes here and does the repair best experience in these rooms and the view and everything

Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam
De locatie met alle straatverkopers
I stay at the Walker every time I come to town. The rooms are cozy—yes, they are small, but that is standard for New York—and always spotlessly clean.
You have two great choices for breakfast (Mostrador, and Blue Bottle for the best coffee), a nice little gym, and a fantastic location. But above all, what makes this place truly special is the amazing staff. During my last stay for my 40th birthday, they went above and beyond to help a friend of mine organize an incredible surprise.
One final note: I MUST give a special thanks to Jennifer from the Walker team. She makes me feel completely at home like no one else ever has. ❤️
Small but comfy room and convenient location
Super noisy area and the windows don’t seem to have any sound proofing. The shades on the windows also left plenty of space for light leakage so not great for sleeping.
This was a phenomenal stay with high level hospitality and an amazing guest experience! Thank you so much. Definitely have to shout out Tony here due to his stellar customer service, his five-star level of professionalism and management, plus his attentiveness that cannot go unnoticed! My experience was excellent from beginning to end!
the rooms are sooo tiny it’s insane
