The young lady at the front desk was kind and helpful throughout the whole situation of checking in and then needing to leave.
The surfaces were visibly dirty - side tables, floor, stovetop, and parts of the kitchen. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom and the floor was warped and coming up from what looked like previous water damage.
Good value, clean, I enjoyed having the kitchen features!
Residents kept propping open the side exit door. It was left open overnight.

There’s was no hot breakfast. It’s just a coffee machine and packaged muffins. The furniture and appliance has wear and tear. The room doesn’t look as pictured.
the camera in your face at the front desk is weird to me. it makes it feel like it’s not a safe neighborhood
Nothing!
Everything was terrible, seriously. I booked a studio that had broken furniture in it. The nightstand was broken, and one leg of the coffee table was damaged. The bathtub drained extremely slowly. Even though it was a studio, the kitchen had zero utensils. The telephone line didn’t work either.
For every single issue, we had to go downstairs to the front desk. We asked for kitchen utensils, and the lady handed us a huge basket with pots, plates, glasses, etc. We had to carry that heavy basket all the way to our room only to find that one saucepan was completely tarnished and peeling from everywhere. It looked disgusting. We had to go all the way back again just to request a proper saucepan.
Later, we found out the iron didn’t work either, so again we had to go downstairs and ask. It was multiple unnecessary rounds up and down.
The breakfast was terrible too. They claimed to serve coffee, but there wasn’t even milk or proper hot water available. They didn’t even have drinking water to serve.
Everything was rubbish. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

My entire stay at this location was great.Its was quiet staff was accommodating and the manager always great me with a smile.Great customer service.
We recently stayed at Extended Stay America Suites Richmond and Unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the property-despite being listed as non-smoking-smelled strongly of marijuna throughout.
When we got to our room, it looked nothing like the photos online. The room felt outdated and was missing basic amenities like an ironing board and hairdryer. We even had to call the front desk just to figure out how to operate the shower, which shouldn’t be necessary.
The following night, multiple rooms around us were playing loud music and partying well into the night. It seemed like this kind of behavior was common and not addressed by management.
Safety was also a concern. There was a police presence outside the hotel every night, and we noticed several cars in the parking lot with broken windows. This made us feel very uneasy during our stay.
Considering the high price we paid, this experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The manager is always cordial and engages conversation during the checkin process which makes me feel like a special.guest.
