ITC Kakatiya, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hyderabad

Breakfast - tasty and delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and constantly kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. The orders placed at the station came out fast as well. The area is excellently staffed and neat.
Room - We took the ITC one room and we absolutely loved the upgrade to the available space.
Early check in - We had landed in Hyderabad after a really long international flight and were extremely tired. We had requested an early check in and the front desk was extremely empathetic to our case and helped us with an early check in. I would call out Priya in the front desk who helped us ( Thank you).
Support staff - Every staff around us would greet us with a warm smile.
In all all my experiences made me feel that the management did everything possible to make our stay as seamless as possible and accommodated our requests.

The Ambience and the room

Breakfast was good

Upon check in we were assigned a very drab room. The room wasn’t even part of towers category. When I complained they promptly shifted me to a higher floor room which was actually the towers category room. This room had a nice view as well facing the lake partially. Food quality is good and staff in general are polite. One particular lady at the reception is not suitable to be there as she repeatedly refused to give me a second key card for my room (God knows what was she thinking). The other lady promptly issued me the key upon request. Would I stay here again. Sorry Taj hospitality wins hands down. Consistency and quality is far more important in the hospitality industry

In room Dinning experience was praise worthy ,Tom Kha Vegetables Soup with Crispy Garlic Bread was very comforting. Matka Kulfi was delightful. Special Thanks to chef Arvind who served us in another property ITC WELCOME Hotel Bhubneshwar two years back . Pleasantly surprised we recognized each other because as guest we never forget to appreciate if we like something and as a chef he always put his best efforts to serve the scrumptious food to the guests.

Both the check-in and check-out processes were unexpectedly slow and took considerably longer than anticipated. There was also no seating available for guests while completing the formalities. Furthermore, even the soft copy of the final invoice took an entire day to be shared after check-out.

At Kebab & Kurries, we requested the bill for payment, but it took nearly 30 minutes to arrive despite repeated follow-ups. The staff appeared slow and unresponsive, and we were almost ready to leave before the bill was finally provided.

Overall, the service lacked urgency, efficiency, and attentiveness. Significant improvement is required in both the front-desk and restaurant service.

Excellent first impression driving up. Fancy lobby, but felt somewhat sterile and industrial. Has a multi-cuisine restaurant downstairs. We had dinner and breakfast there. For dinner, we had a fish dish that was recommended by the waiter; it was so good.

The room was good; the floor and carpet had some food crumbs that had not been cleaned up. The view was toward the street, but the windows did a great job of keeping the road noise out. Gauze curtains for privacy, and blackout curtains if you want to sleep late.

There are some outside restaurants and shops within walking distance; we did not give them a try.
