Disappointing and downtrodden. Definitely not worth the bother
Pros:

It was handy to get to from the motorway

Cons:

There wasn’t enough space for the size of our party. Breakfast was a total disaster waiting half an hour before cooked food finally trickled out one by one. Staff weren’t very helpful and everything seemed like too much of an effort. Gluten free options were very poor.

It was a comfortable stay and the staff were friendly but as I said zero communication when the fire alarm went off and

Cons:

Fire alarm went off at 5:50am, lasted a minute or so I went downstairs and staff just said morning- no communication as to why the alarm went off or anything.
There was constantly rats spotted outside running under cars.

Cheap & cheerful
Pros:

The property was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very nice with a wide selection and the Staff were extremely pleasant and cheerful. The staff both on the desk and house keeping were very professional.

Cons:

The sink in the bathroom needs bleach, as there is a pungent smell of drains. Around the shower there was at times water leaking from the outside

The night shift staff were very helpful.

Cons:

The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The sink was broken. Not enough disabled parking. Not enough tables or organisation at breakfast. We booked a room and arranged for an earlier check in but when we got there the room wasn't available even though they said it would be, when we called in May when we booked the hotel.
