Welcoming motel and pet friendly.
Pros:

Rooms as expected. Beds comfy. Rooms clean. Pet friendly, even a little welcome pack for the dog. Staff very nice.

Cons:

Situated where the local roads are very difficult to cross. Maybe a little naive on our part but only there one night.
The breakfast was pretty good but the buns were very stale and inedible.

Exceeded expectations and excellent value for money.
Pros:

The staff were very welcoming, particularly the lady who served drinks in the bar. The room was very spacious and had all the facilities we wanted. The bed was comfortable and everywhere was clean. There was an excellent choice of food for breakfast. We have stayed at other HI Express but this one was really excellent value for money.

Cons:

My partner would have liked Real Ale in the bar!!
