Very nice stay
Pros:

Excellent hotel in a fantastic location, close to Harrods, with beautiful views over Hyde Park. One thing we especially appreciated was the electronic bidet, which is very important for us as guests from the Middle East. It made us feel much more comfortable and at home during our stay. A special thank you to Vasil at the door for his good service and warm welcome.

Great location and warm staff, let down by a nickel-and-dime breakfast
Pros:

Stayed a few nights at COMO Metropolitan on a London trip. Plenty to like. The location is excellent, the suite was a good size by London standards, check-in was smooth, and the staff were genuinely warm throughout.
Where it slipped was breakfast. At a room listed around 850 a night, I didn't expect to feel nickel-and-dimed. The same water they stock free in the room was 7 pounds at the table with no heads up. The mango juice tasted more can than mango ~ my son took one sip and left it. And the hash browns, ordered as a side, arrived as exactly two small pieces for 8 pounds. The bill came to nearly 70 pounds for a simple breakfast.
It wasn't the amount, it was the feeling. At this level you're paying to not have to check every line. Small games chip away at that fast.
Credit where due: I raised it with Biswa from the team, who heard me out patiently and followed up with an apology. That was handled well, and I hope the breakfast experience gets a rethink for future guests.
Lovely property. Just needs to match the generosity to the price tag.

Great rooms and location
Pros:

A lovely hotel with amazing rooms. We loved the Japanese style toilet and the strong AC. The bed was comfortable and pillows were super soft (just how we liked them). The very best part of our stay was how caring, friendly and helpful the staff were. Big shout outs to Daniella and Julieth for all their help and attention. You both really made our stay a wonderful experience.would love to stay here again.
