Surprisingly large, very comfortable room in an excellent location near tube stop and museums! The soundproofing was very good and the bathroom was spacious and well lit. Furniture choices were a bit quirky, but everything was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the full cooked breakfast and friendly service in the bright, cheerful breakfast room. Excellent value for the money.
Central for what we needed and good underground connections
All was ok
Lovely comfortable beds and very clean
Location and Marta who works in the dining room. She was a gem. Always cheerful. The hotel’s saving grace.
This is NOT a four star hotel. It has a four star price but not the facilities that you would expect. Dining room is so small you can hardly move your chair. Had to have a room change because the shower was dreadful.
Mycket bra continental breakfast med cereals, ham, cheese, brown bread, boiled eggs and fresh fruit.
Inget speciellt.
Loved the location and staff very friendly. Hotel in excellent position for exploring Kensington. Within walking distance of lots of Londons visitor attractions you.
Loved everything
Fantastic location, comfy bed, great staff
Toilet constantly blocked, smoke alarm missing, room a bit tired
The room was spacious, and the facilities well maintained. The location is excellent. The price is also very good for the area. An elevator cannot be taken for granted in hotels in this area.
I didn’t find anything at fault.
Excellent location in Kensington, which is a pretty and safe neighborhood. Glad we stayed here instead of more central. Less than five minutes to both tube and bus. Large room for London. Marta at breakfast was very nice. Breakfast was great to have. Was included as a bonus from Booking. Comfortable bed.
All London hotels are pricey and this is but a decent value compared to other places we looked at.
We had a spacious and comfortable ground-floor room with very good beds, duvets and pillows. The blackout blind and some of the bathroom sealant were a little worn and could use some refreshing, but this did not affect our stay.
The location was excellent, with shops, restaurants and the Piccadilly Line just a short walk away. We especially enjoyed having breakfast at The King's Head nearby.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back again! ❤️
Lovely hotel. Very clean. Staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable with comfy bed. Plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobes which we generally find is a rarity. Well equipped room, safe box, fridge, tea and coffee facilities, toiletries in the bathroom. Very elegant decor throughout the hotel. Didn't have any food at the hotel. Great location for Royal Albert Hall 15mins walk. In a quiet street. Very good, would visit again and recommend to others.
No suggestions. Only stayed 1 night and very happy with all aspects.
Near station
Nothing
Our room was a good size and included a sitting area. The hotel staff were friendly and attempted to be helpful. The elevator was an adequate size. The location was fairly close to a metro stop. The staff tried to help immediately whenever we reported an issue.
Our granddaughter’s room had a mysterious leak that caused much of the carpet to stay wet. The staff assumed she had left the shower door open a bit to allow water to spray out. However, the wet carpet occurred before she ever used the shower. Also, the bathroom floor tiles would have been wet if the shower had been left open. They were not wet. The small metal holder that held the shower head in her shower fell off the wall the first time she turned on the water. The 2nd night we were in this hotel the fire alarm went off at 1:00 AM sending all guests outside into the street. We were finally allowed to come inside and cram into the lobby, but it was over an hour of waiting while the staff ran around investigating the reason for the alarm and trying to shut it off. When they finally got the alarm off and told everyone it was fine to go back to bed, the alarm in our granddaughter’s room was still sounding. It was the only alarm that was still on, and no one knew why or how to turn it off. She had to sleep on the couch in our room that night. They had to move her to a new room the next day. The manager told my husband we would be reimbursed for the cost of one night for her room, but that hasn’t happened yet.
The breakfast room had a few small issues such as very little regular white sugar available on the tables. Also, there were no little cream pitchers. We had to get a regular glass and fill it with milk to bring to our table each morning.
