Pros:

The location of the hotel was superb. Bus stop and tube station nearby. Paddington station 10 min walk from the hotel. The room was of decent size, however double bed was very narrow, more like single, that was not very convenient. Also breakfast is very limited and variety is poor, same choice every day. Special huge thanks to the hotel staff, especially Ali, who are very friendly and extremely helpful in everything, you just need to ask. Overall the hotel is a good value for money.

Pros:

highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for family oriented accommodation in London. The experience was great and the staff were genuinely friendly, kind and helpful especially Mr. Ali the manager who helped us with our room requests and with everything we asked for.

I love that it is near everything. It is well situated. It is in front of Hyde Park and it is near a tube station.

Love the staff, the people there were really warm and always gave me bottles of water when I arrive. I also had to borrow a charger because my cube is European and not British.

I have to say I love the bed. I was very comfortable with the bed. It was soft and comfortable to sleep in.

The breakfast was decent. I wouldn’t do it every day probably one day to get you a basic and local English breakfast.

Cons:

I have to say that the place is a bit old. You will see in the small details of the furniture or the tables in the drawers in the room that they’re not high quality one of the lamps in my room room 302 didn’t turn off and I was just lazy to ask for a rum replacement so I had to cover it with a cloth the whole time. but it’s not that bad like if you’re staying in London mostly outside and this is just for sleeping. This is great.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly, polite, and professional. They were always happy to answer our questions and were very helpful throughout our stay. They even offered to store our luggage on the last day, which we really appreciated.

The location is excellent. The hotel is very well connected to the rest of London. Both Lancaster Gate and Paddington stations are nearby. Lancaster Gate is slightly closer, while Paddington offers more transport connections and is only a few minutes further away on foot.

The room was great, clean, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

Cons:

The bathroom was disappointing compared to the rest of the hotel. The bathtub was extremely slippery, which felt unsafe, and some parts of the bathtub appeared damaged or broken.

The breakfast was also quite poor and did not meet our expectations. There was limited variety, and overall it was the weakest part of the hotel experience.

Pros:

Moderne et bien situé, l’hôtel est idéal pour se rendre à Kensington Gardens (et visiter le palais de Kensington) ainsi qu’à Hyde Park. Il permet également de rejoindre facilement Notting Hill, et donc Portobello Road, ou encore South Kensington, pour visiter le Victoria and Albert Museum ou le Muséum d’histoire naturelle. Par ailleurs, le bâtiment comme le quartier ne manquent pas de caractère, ce qui rend l’expérience typiquement londonienne. L’amabilité des équipes et leur disponibilité sont également à saluer !

Cons:

La propreté de la chambre laissait à désirer. En effet, un plat préparé avarié avait été oublié dans le réfrigérateur, rendant impossible l’utilisation du mini-bar. Il dégageait une mauvaise odeur qui, à la moindre ouverture, se répandait dans la chambre et restait persistante. Une fois la réception informée, le plat périmé a bien été retiré, mais l’odeur étant toujours présente, l’utilisation du réfrigérateur demeurait impossible. À cela s’ajoutaient des taches sur les rideaux et la moquette, ce qui interrogeait sur la propreté générale de la chambre. Je tiens toutefois à préciser que, le matin de notre départ, il nous a été proposé de prendre gracieusement le petit-déjeuner sur place, en compensation du désagrément, en plus des excuses sincères du manager de l’hôtel.
