The old charm
Bien situé dans la vile. Hôtel confortable.
Entre le service attendu et le service rendu pour un 4 étoiles, il encore beaucoup de progrès à faire. Personnel peu attentionné.
Location great. Room comfortable. Breakfast very good.
We left some alcohol in the mini fridge. A bottle of wine which had one glass drank from it. And 3-4 bottles of beer. When i called to ask about it i was told it had never been logged by housekeeping. They couldn't help except to advise i emailed again which seemed odd given i had just told the receptionist what had happened. I didn't email as it feel away as i was busy. I was disappointed with the response. More importantly i know we left it behind.

Small "ish" room, only one uncomfortable chair, small bed. To be honest I expected more for the price paid.

Our room was very small with low ceilings and a window we couldn’t open or see out of. Might as well have been a dungeon.

The main restaurant/bar overlooking the River Thames
The two double rooms we had, whilst clean varied in size - both on the small side with no view. Not easily accessible being on the 2nd floor, no lift and lots of different stairs, corridors, etc. This could have been because a Wedding was being held at the Hotel on the Friday.
Good location for the wedding we attended
The front desk staff were hostile and came across as if they would rather be anywhere but there. Lack of enthusiasm and very mono tone when dealing with our check in. We also had to wait at least 5 minutes for staff to finish chatting before even being acknowledged that we could check in
No lift in the property, which I wish I had known as I took my 80-year-old mother. Maybe it was on the website, but I should have checked.
