Bed is very comfortable .
Room had weird smell and I like coffee pots in the room and there was not one
Breakfast was great
??
Breakfast and at reception they gave you a list of some restaurants close by.
Although we were on the first floor, the entrance that was nearest to our room required a 3 step up section to another door which then opened into our rooms' hallway. When you are carrying luggage, have kids to corral or have some mobility issues, those extra steps are a nuosance.
Good breakfast. Good location
This is a pretty typical H.I. Express. One unusual and unwelcome surprise was that they charge $15 for parking, even though they’re not near a business area and the parking lot is both wide open and mostly empty. I doubt they actually check for parking passes or have any method of enforcement given that there are no signs anywhere outside indicating it’s a “fee-based” lot.
We had used Air Canada miles to book the stay and our reservation clearly stated that it included “all required hotel fees”; there was absolutely NO mention of a parking fee until we checked in and the front-desk clerk asked for a credit card. And it wasn’t until checkout the next morning that we learned they were also charging us a small ADDITIONAL fee (about $1) which they attributed to the city of Sedona (wouldn’t this be included under “all required hotel fees”?!).
Anyway, be aware that the hotel’s in Oak Creek Village, which is on AZ-179 several miles south of the main center of Sedona (good or bad, depending on your preferences). The room itself was “acceptable” – reasonably clean, but some mold/mildew in the shower indicating it’d been awhile since renovation. I’d rate the breakfast “just OK.” There was no charge for the ambiance added by the dead mouse we stepped on just outside the lobby on the way to the pool (which convinced us we didn’t really want to use their hot tub).
Enjoyed our stay! Nice clean facility. Kids were happy with the pool.
Na
Close to Grand Canyon entrance good room for price, breakfast included was good.
Parking full at night and no laundry facility
You have to pay $50 to park at this hotel. They don't tell you this until you get there
Amazing stay
The sink was leaking bad!!!!! 15$ a night to park is crazy work —-
The staff are so incredible. The willingness to help with your request is absolutely amazing.
We got the room with no view but we only stay for one night. Not a big deal.
I liked the location and price.
