Front desk staff friendly, location, easy parking.

Cons:

A cooked breakfast is included with the room and we were looking forward to it. The first morning, there were no eggs, no hashbrowns and the pancake machine wasn't working. Unfortunately, we were forced to have only continental breakfast items. The second morning, there was no bacon or hashbrowns. Again, we were unable to have a cooked breakfast.

Great location for a short stay in Mill Valley.
Pros:

The common areas were lovely and updated, the pool area was great and the breakfast area looked updated. The location was convenient and easy to get to!

Cons:

The room had a different feel than the common spaces. Our room was on a ground floor in the back and felt dark and cold. The floor was tiled, not sure if that’s because of the high tide warnings around the building? And while the breakfast had a good spread, there were dogs brought inside in the breakfast food area.

The hotel had a certain charm, lovely location and pleasant accommodating stadd

Pleasant and efficient staff. There was some construction going on which accounted for noise, but generally speaking the rooms were v clean and housekeeping staff really good

Pros:

Great location & friendly, accommodating staff. Comfy bed with pillow options. Easy parking, close to restaurants, good vibe.

Cons:

Only suggestion would be a dark curtain since windows face the lighted courtyard.

No frills but affordable, peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Marin wetlands.
Pros:

The location is beautiful, right in the middle of a wetland with gorgeous birds. I took nice walks on the shared bike and walking path. There is no noise from the nearby freeway because it's set back from it. The breakfast was also decent with bacon and eggs and plenty of room to sit and enjoy. The swimming pool was great and so were the staff. They rent bikes free to registered guests. Didn't try it but would have if I were there longer. Only stayed one night.

Cons:

They put me on the first floor so my bay view was also of a parking lot with some construction workers who were parked there. Even though we had a balcony, it wasn't very private. Maybe they could have them park somewhere else? My husband said the bed was lumpy, but I thought it was fine.

A good place to stay with a great location in the Mill Valley area.
Pros:

The location near Richardson Bay, Mill Valley, and Tiburon. We enjoyed the view of the Bay from our room with a little balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet.

Cons:

Holiday Inn has discontinued providing coffee and tea in rooms. Instead, they have machines in the lobby available at all hours to brew fresh coffee and provide hot water for tea. This is okay if your room is near the lobby, but our room was in a separate building from the lobby and it was quite a trek to get coffee or tea and bring it back to the room. This will be a factor in the future in my decisions on where to stay.

Our room was smaller than expected and we had to wait for the room to be cleaned when we checked in.

Cons:

Our room was facing the lagoon and the exterior door was locked after being told where to park and enter. There were sandbags and mud in our patio. The phone didn’t work. My husband had to stand in line for 15-20 min to request a new room with two queen beds. The only room they could give us was one queen bed in a handicapped person room.
