Ruhiges und gemütliches Hotel in perfekter Strandnähe mit geräumigen Zimmern, komfortablen Betten!
Pros:

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Inn at East Beach in Santa Barbara. Die Lage ist hervorragend, nur wenige Minuten vom Strand entfernt und gleichzeitig angenehm ruhig. Für Spaziergänge, Joggingrunden oder einfach zum Entspannen am Meer ist das Hotel ideal gelegen.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, der uns empfangen hat. Er war außergewöhnlich freundlich, hat uns alles gezeigt, uns begleitet und sich sogar persönlich darum gekümmert, einen Parkplatz direkt an der Straße für uns freizuhalten, obwohl er uns auch einen kostenpflichtigen Platz im Innenhof hätte anbieten können. Dieser Service war wirklich bemerkenswert und hat unseren ersten Eindruck sofort sehr positiv geprägt.

Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist der komfortable Zugang zu den Zimmern. Wir konnten direkt an der Straße vor dem Hotel parken und praktisch ohne Barrieren direkt vom Auto ins Zimmer gehen, ganz ohne lange Flure oder Umwege. Das fanden wir besonders bequem.

Unser Zimmer war groß, geräumig und sehr komfortabel. Die Betten waren bequem, und mit Kühlschrank sowie weiterer praktischer Ausstattung war alles vorhanden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt.

Im Innenhof befindet sich ein schöner Pool, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Dort gibt es auch Tische und Stühle, sodass man gemütlich frühstücken oder den Tag ausklingen lassen kann.

Das Frühstück selbst war eher einfach gehalten, für uns jedoch völlig ausreichend. Viele Gäste bringen sich zusätzlich eigene Kleinigkeiten mit und können diese bequem im Außenbereich genießen.

Insgesamt hat uns das Hotel durch seine ruhige Lage, die Nähe zum Strand, die geräumigen Zimmer und den außergewöhnlich freundlichen Service überzeugt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Worth the money, great location, right by the beach..

Near East Beach
Pros:

The room was spacious and featured a large bed. However, the layout felt a bit unusual. While there were several drawers and hangers available for storing belongings, we found them less practical than having a proper closet or wardrobe. The room also featured a fireplace, which was a nice touch, although we were unable to figure out how to turn it on.
East Beach and the ocean are just a short walk away, and there are beautiful mountain views nearby. Parking is convenient, with both paid parking at the hotel and free street parking available close by.
Breakfast was quite simple, consisting of coffee, tea, packaged pastries, and fruit. Complimentary coffee and tea were available near the front desk throughout the day. One thing we particularly liked was being able to enjoy breakfast outdoors by the pool, which made for a very pleasant start to the morning.

Cons:

The cleanliness could have been better. We even noticed a small stain on the bed linens, although we only discovered it later.
The small nook that appeared to be intended for luggage and clothing storage was occupied by heaters, making it less convenient to organize our belongings.

The bed is very uncomfortable, like you are in a water bed. Breakfast was not breakfast because they only have banana, apple, muffins and cinnamon bread, coffee and that’s it. If free breakfast is part of the booking fee, then i think it should be better than that.

Close to walking paths by beach

Cons:

The room was filth when we arrived. We asked the staff to clean because there was filth and hair in the bathroom and shower. The room was, in ill repai with chipped paint and half patch jobs left undone, removed smoke detectors and, the plumbing was faulty so water was turned off the second day. The day we left, the water was murky so we could not shower. We asked to be moved to another room however the staff said they were full. They offered to clean the bathroom the 2nd day after a staff member gentleman arrived late with a spray bottle a day dirty rag. 😳

Versteckte Parkplatzkosten, beim Buchen nicht ersichtlich. Es gibt aber auf den Straßen vor Ort viele kostenlose Parkplätze, die wir auch gefunden haben und
