Good rooms bad F & B
Pros:

The rooms quality and the staff at the reception.

Cons:

The F & B division especially the breakfast time, the staff is rude, notnintereted to attend and arrogant. Shocked to see this attitude. Food anyways we were mentally prepared that taj food especially the buffet is bad across taj properties. F & B at delhi taj palace is saying 2 out of 10.

Pros:

Overall everything was great.

Cons:

Keeping in view it's Taj, there breakfast was quite disappointing. Meaning, barely any options as such. They should work on that.

Pros:

The room was good and clean

Cons:

The service to my surprise of the Taj was exceptionally bad and delayed. The waiting time for elevator 15 mins, waiting time.for room service 45 mins to 1 hr, waiting time for breakfast 45 mins. The breakfast spread was that of any 3 star category hotel unlike Taj. Extremely disappointed with my one night stay.

nothing significant to describe the stay
Pros:

Good location, nice Cafe area and outdoor seating at lobby level, nice restaurants specially the Indian cuisine at lobby level , we also tried the chinese

Cons:

They have some untrained staff at the main restaurant at Lobby level where we used to have morning breakfast... some of the staff are really not welcoming , we have encountered one lady staff and we had to make complaint to the hotel manager , really disgusting.. however, apologies came later from the Manager.. and another day , after finishing breakfast , one staff asked for bill payment to my wife although breakfast was complimentary.. No apologies this time... probably that staff was lookingbfor tip ...very very disgusting, unfit for becoming staff of Taj Hotel properties.. I never faced such situation as we continuously travelling India and abroad..

Stay was amazing except one minor incident about the phone call
Pros:

Clean room and quick and easy check out

Cons:

My flight landed late and on top that atm card was having issue and upon requesting staff to make an outgoing call, I was given run around to use the local phone. At the end I had to express my frustration to the receptionist that this is crazy that to make one local phone I cannot use the phone on her desk. And they were not even busy with other client

The hotel had a pleasant ambience, clean surroundings, and was well maintained. The breakfast was decent too

Cons:

The hotel, surroundings, ambience, and breakfast were good. However, I was disappointed with the service.

When I enquired about the airport pick-up before my arrival, the staff member spoke to me very rudely. I never expected this kind of behaviour from such a reputed hotel chain. I have stayed at many hotels before and have never had such an unpleasant experience.

Another issue was with housekeeping. We went out during the day expecting the room to be cleaned, but when we returned around 11:00 PM, it had not been cleaned. We were too tired to call and complain, so we had to use the same towels again. If guests need to leave the room key or inform the reception for housekeeping, this should be clearly explained during check-in.

One more thing that made us feel uncomfortable was the welcome. We noticed that other guests were being welcomed with garlands, but we were not. It may have been because we arrived late, and perhaps there was a reason, but it made us feel a little left out.

Pros:

Breakfast was really delicious, food overall was very good. Room was very comfortable. All the staff members were great, and very kind. Wet area and swimming pool very well maintained.

Everything right from entry to check out

Cons:

Nothing but you should try to do something for comfortable breakfast. Every time I had to wait for 30-40 minutes to wait for your turn to get a table for breakfast. It was my fifth visit since June. It happened Every time. Rest everything is beyond excellence
