Room wasn’t set up for two beds when we arrived so we had to make up the sofa bed ourselves.
We had breakfast at the hotel one morning and were disappointed by the lack of options, plastic disposable boxes, and unfriendly staff.
Gym was very hot and didn’t seem air conditioned.

Leider schlechtes W-Lan, für besseres hätte man wohl zahlen können, wie sich beim Einwählen ergab. Für Gepäckaufbewahrung am letzten Tag wurde eine (kleine) Gebühr genommen, was bri dem Zimmerpreis wohl drin sein sollte. Kein Kaffee in der Lounge, Wasser konnte man sich an der Rezeption abholen, hätte man auch ins Zimmer stellen können. 50 Dollar Kaution pro Tag ebenfalls viel.

I write this as a Malaysian who has travelled extensively in the United States and in South East Asia. I know that star ratings are relative.

However, I must say, for the benefit of visitors from South East Asia to the United States, that the level of service provided by 4-star hotels in the United States does not compare favourably with the level of service provided by 4-star hotels in Asia. In-house buffet breakfasts in American hotels, the Warwick Allerton included, are sparse compared to what you would expect to find in an Asian hotel.

Similarly, I would expect room service is available until at least midnight, if not all night, in aSouth East Asian 4-star hotel. If I remember correctly, The Warwick Allerton does not offer traditional room service or in-room dining.

Relative to similar offerings in the United States, the Warwick Allerton is fine. My room was comfortable and clean. Everything in the room worked. There was free wifi. However, do not expect other niceties like a mini-bar or a Nespresso coffee maker. Things I would normally expect from a hotel that charged USD975 for a three-night stay.

I repeat my caveat for the benefit of non-US readers of my review. I have nothing to complain about regarding the Warwick Allerton. Just note that you must moderate your expectations of what a 4-star hotel in the United States provides as compared to what you would expect from a similarly rated hotel in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand etc.

Te cobran 2$ extra por cada maleta que dejes después o antes de hacer el check out/ check in. Te cobran 25$ al día por internet y botellas de agua. Vamos que se acaba incrementando el precio de la estancia por cosas que deberían estar incluidas en el precio del hotel

Nothing

The first room offered smelt of cigarette smoke - the hotel instantly changed our room.

Nothing....

The room was quite dated and could do with a bit of an update to fixtures such as the carpets and wall paint but other than that the room size was good.

We have stayed here before but this time our room smelled and felt a little damp. We did just stay one night at least, but def would have wanted to change rooms if it was a longer stay
