The hotel lobby is stunning. There was live music in on the weekend and ample seating.
Our room was super humid probably due to the air conditioner running nonstop. The thermostat was set to 64 degrees, and while the temperature was comfortable to me, it was not 64 degrees in that room. The closet was so must and smelly we couldn't use it. The armchair had stains all over it so we didn't use that, either. The minifridge in the entertainment center wasn't working so there was as second one against the wall by the window. We were thankful for the backup, but in a small room it took up space. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan so it was super humid in there as well. The wallpaper was peeling and the shower head was rusty.
We loved the two bathrooms, clean beds, and size of the room.
Old building; seems like the carpet could have been refreshed and the bathroom floors a little cleaner. There were no toiletries and shower caps (but I forgot to bring mine).
History of the hotel, architecture of the building. The location was perfect.
With older buildings you get things like these but the door knobs for the bathroom didn't work properly, HVAC leaked on the floor we were on etc...
