Very nice facilities, convenient location
Pros:

The hotel was much nicer than I anticipated! Facilities were really clean and updated, and the restaurant was tasty too. It was also a very convenient location. The guy who checked us in was also super helpful and friendly, which was a great first impression.

Cons:

I didn't love the parking lot...when I parked, I was alone with my four kids and there were truck drivers pulling into the adjacent lot to rest or to go to the casino across the street. I grew up in the trucking industry so it's not a stereotype that I'm using, I just didn't feel very safe out there. If someone wanted to, they could've hopped the tiny bars in between (waist/chest high).
It was also one of the pricier hotels in the area, but like I said, it was a lot nicer than we anticipated.

Cons:

We booked for one day with breakfast included, but besides the hotel and parking charges, extra money was withdrawn. I didn’t understand why.

The best of the best!!!
Pros:

I stayed at the Hyatt Centric while in Chicago for work! The staff at the hotel are fabulous! Professional, courteous, and also friendly and welcoming! Well done! Would like to give a shout out to Anilu, and Pina at breakfast, Vilma, James and Andrea at the front desk, Nicole and Elizabeth at the bar. These individuals are the best! They greet me by name and make the Hyatt Centre truly feel like my home away from home! A great big thank you to each of them!!!

great Hotel in close proximity to the Airport !
Pros:

After the recent renovation, this hotel has truly stepped into the present day. The updates make a noticeable difference, and the overall atmosphere feels fresh and welcoming.

What really stands out, though, is the staff. The Front Desk Manager, Vilma, is exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely engaged with guests. In the restaurant, Pinar turns breakfast into something special. It feels less like a hotel dining room and more like sitting down at a relative’s home. She creates a warm, relaxed environment and takes real care of people.

One small request: please bring back the salmon bagel with onions and capers—it was a favorite!

All in all, this is a great hotel where the team clearly enjoys what they do, and that makes all the difference.

Pros:

Tony worked hard to correct an error with my reservation. While I waited he continued to communicate to me what was going on and apologized. Keeping me updated made me feel valued as a customer and in the know.
