Location was excellent as long as you had sea facing rooms
Difficult to navigate steps with bags . Fortunately the guy at d front desk was very helpful
Room was updated for the most part other than the non functional mini fridge - just was thankful it wasn't a tent and a campfire by the time we got to the room. Beds were fine as well as was the bathroom
Facility was utter Chaos with construction / zero desk clerk on check in or check out. About as bad as you can imagine. Parking was also chaotic with only certain side of the business accessible. The complimentary breakfast wasn't worth the hassle of trying to figure out where it was served. I had to leave a security deposit - whaat ? In Room Mini Fridge non functional - didn't even bother trying to get someone to fix it with all the other mayhem going on.
Not too much.
Hotel was under construction. Elevator was not working during the day. I have mobility issues and I was placed on the 3rd floor.
No coffee in the room
completely different than one in Danbury, ct. with that said it was a Best Western previously .
I did't know it was open when i drove in, until after sitting in the parking lot trying question Booking.com with no luck.
I saw a man getting dropped off at front door, that's when i went in to find out.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are no coffee makers in the room itself but they had a nice continental breakfast set up in the main lobby.
Nothing. Everything was exceptional.
The only good thing about the property was the location.
It was 100% misleading. The only thing that looked like the pictures when my bf and I booked this hotel was the outside. we had NO idea that the hotel was under construction until we got there. We also found a toenail and a small pill on the floor. We had our 2 y.o with us, so that wasn’t a good thing for us.
I wish we were told renovations were beig done.
That I had to drive to the lobby in the morning to get coffee.
Nothing i have stayed there many times over the years this was the worst
Couldnt get take out .had to go outside to get to pool or office the breakfast was the worst i have ever had at any hotel nothing to drink with stale toast not even water i asked why at front desk and no answer was there all week never got new linen or had no toilet paper after 2nd day so just boight some when went to store to get a drink very upset about stay could kerp going on and on
This is a hotel that on the highway but tucked away enough that you don’t hear the cars. We came in early March, so my review will Be different than those who come during the summer. The hotel was quiet and clean. It is very well maintained.
The lobby doubles as their breakfast area. The breakfast comes with the cost of your stay. It’s not the biggest breakfast spread I’ve ever had but it covers all the essentials It has something for everyone and you won’t go hurry. Breakfast at the time of this review is served from 6 am to 9:30 am. So it’s great for early risers. I needed to set an alarm to make it in time. I like that coffee/tea is available at all times.
Our room was a good size. The bathroom is a little tight but there is a sink just outside for you to get ready while someone else is showering. I found the bed to be very comfortable. We got a room with two beds. There was a nice desk area and a small table and chairs to sit at. Plenty of lighting and plugs for all your devices. There was a nice sized TV but the cable channel we were trying to watch was a little glitchy.
There is a large pool right off the lobby. We didn’t use it but it definitely looked inviting. I didn’t notice the hot tub, but there is a shower in the pool area to get the chlorine off.
There are elevators and Dollie’s to bring your stuff up to the room. There are only two that I saw so it’s first come first served. We were on the top floor in the corner so we didn’t hear any of our neighbors.
I will say that there was a surprise fee of $70 that we didn’t know about as a security deposit for the room. I get that this is necessary but I wish it was included on their list of fees because I had not prepared for it and that took away from my fun money. They said I would get it back if we didn’t wreck the room so we’ll see.
Overall this was a great hotel for us
And I would recommend.
