Pros:

Breakfast and the bar were good for us. Both bartenders were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Parking situation was not pleasant, especially since my partner is disabled. We parked on the street thinking we could use his disabled pass for "payment" and ended up getting a ticket 15mins before the 5pm deadline on Friday. The couch in the room was very uncomfortable. It needs pillows on the back that go all the way up the back.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel, staff were very easy to work with and exceptionally friendly, the ac in our room was PERFECT

Cons:

I hated that we had to pay Valet for a place we would be sleeping, the third elevator didn’t work l, and our room only had 2 lights in the main area!

It's a Marriott - Big whoop
Pros:

Good ole Marriott offering a very Marriott-like experience. No frills, everything as it should be. The bar and breakfast downstairs was nice and not overpriced like many hotels. That said, you are in Portland - go out and eat!

Cons:

I was charged for parking erroneously and it has been quite a process to get the charges taken off of my bill. They removed the charges, but applied them to the wrong credit card, and blamed me for booking through a 3rd party for the mistake.

Very nice staff, very clean, but expensive parking and food.
Pros:

The location was near many fast food restaurants, bus stops and train stops.

Cons:

They charge a large amount of money for parking on site and it's valet only. We had to park off-site to afford to stay there. The breakfast and dinner offered is an additional charge and is also expensive. We had to go somewhere more affordable for our meals. The sofa bed was advertised as sleeping 2 but it was just a twin with one pillow and blanket. One of our kids had to sleep on the couch cushion on the floor with one of my pillows and blanket from the bed.

I wouldn’t willingly choose this location again for my family to stay
Pros:

Closeness to the Moda Center and the option for bar and breakfast restaurant

Cons:

I did not see until after booking there is no parking on site unless you pay for valet per night.
Also, they charge 50$ per dog on top of the price of the room. Added an extra 100$ to the total. Not mentioned at time of booking, only after I checked in at the hotel

Excellent location to the convention center. Walkable neighborhood.
Pros:

Very comfortable room and super comfortable mattress. Clean and upscale room.

Cons:

Parking was a bit expensive.

AMAZING Staff and they ROCK!
Pros:

The staff was excellent from when we walked in to when we left they treated us great. We had someone with a hip replacement and they even tried to find her a cane and also gave her extra time to get around during check out. The person who checked us in was named Tegg* ( I could be spelling this wrong but they are super nice and worked the night shift during our stay) and was AMAZING- we had 34 people checking in unexpectedly due to a layover and then gave no complaints and all smiles. Best stay ever!
