Convenient and central to places we were going.
The location was perfect for us to exit the interstate and reach the hotel easily. Front desk staff were efficient and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. The room was clean and very comfortable.

When we booked, we requested a quiet room, specifically not near the elevators. Booking told us they sent our request to the hotel. We tried to check in early, at 11 am, to make sure we got a quiet room. We were told that there was something wrong with their computer and we could not check in at that time. They also told us they would call us when we could check in. They never called us. Meanwhile we went about our day and returned to the room at approx 5 pm to check in. They put us in a room that shared a common wall with the two elevators so you could hear every movement each time they went up or down. We immediately went back to the front desk for a different room. They told us they had 8 other rooms, but it was going to cost us because they were more expensive. When we asked how much it would be, they went and spoke with the manager. When they returned, they first told us that they never received our request for a quiet room. When I showed them Booking's email to me stating that our request was forwarded to them, they then stated, "well, it doesn't matter because [they] don't have to grant our request for a quiet room anyway." So then we asked to upgrade to one of the 8 rooms that were vacant. They then told us we could not change or upgrade rooms because we "had booked our reservation through Booking.com." They told us we had to stay in the elevator room, that that room was already paid for, that they would not refund our money, and that if we wanted to purchase one of the 8 vacant rooms, we would have to pay for both rooms for the 2 nights we were going to stay there. We wound up staying in the elevator room. Got no sleep. Worst treatment of hotel guests we had ever experienced. A disgrace. As an additional criticism, the queen beds were old and extremely spongy. Should have been replaced years ago. No sleep, plus backaches.

bathrooms a little outdated
It was nice that they had beds and a room with a bathroom.
The staff was unhelpful and act sighed and rolled their eyes when I asked for new sheets because my son got sick. When I asked for a refresh if the room (we were staying for 4 nights) they refused, so we got to sit in a room that smelled of vomit and Simpsonville.
