Fantastic experience staying at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit in Bangkok. Centrally located with easy access to BTS and metro and local cabs via Grab.
The breakfast buffet was very good. 5-6 Indian vegetarian options available on a daily basis with those changing everyday. Good mix of south Indian and north Indian food options available. The taste was authentic and the hospitality by Mr Sachin and his team was amazing.
I only stay in Westin grande which shows I am very happy
Excellent as always - I’ve been staying here over the last 15 years when I get to visit Bangkok. Narin from Housekeeping stood out for me this time. Exceptionally cheerful and helpful.

Old decor, need renovation
Very harm hospitality and great food, I was really impressed by the Indian food served by Sachin in breakfast.
First the obvious: Great location, hotel was old but very well-maintained, clean, comfortable, and the usual high Westin-standard mattress and bedding quality.
Food: The range was smaller than the other large 5-stars, but the quality was excellent. I think I enjoyed everything I had.
Service was great: Every encounter was pleasant, and I was honestly quite pleased with the minor issue at breakfast. When I went in, the waiter realised my room number wasn’t listed. These things happen, and usually the hotel would point it out and clarify/check (wasting time and it is slightly embarrassing to the guest).
The waiter told me not to worry and it was probably some system issue, took note of my room number, and brought me to a table. I’m sure he checked at the back after that, but it felt really smooth and guest-focused.
I think the mark of a great hotel is not that nothing goes wrong (of course that is ideal), but that if something does, the hotel can resolve it in a discrete way without raising any scene.
