Only 1 lift for the entire hotel...including staff......lots of very unhappy residents sharing lifts with dirty laundry etc.!

Cons:

The lights in the room, plus every time a neighbour opened and closed their doors, it rattled through our bed head and door. We had people on our floor banging doors from 1am through to 5am. Was a nightmare

Comfortable night stay
Pros:

The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Cracked tiles in the bathroom floor almost cut my foot. A lot of noise from the hallway through the night.

Way to noisey , I should have been told there was a wedding party on and the noise would affect my stay , also one lift working was not good for a hotel this size

schönes Stadthotel in guter Lage

Die Lage des Hotels in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Cardiff Castle hat mir sehr gefallen. Die Zimmer haben schallisolierte, nicht öffenbare Fenster. Das Bad ist geräumig. Die Zimmerausstattung ist in Ordnung. Die Bar ist sehr schön.

Cons:

Ich hatte zwei Zimmer gebucht. Am ersten Tag wurde nur ein Zimmer gereinigt, und bis auf den letzten Tag wurden beide Zimmer nicht ordnungsgemäß gereinigt (nicht gesaugt, Dusche nicht geputzt etc.). Dies bin ich von einem Hilton Hotel nicht gewohnt. Die Bedienung an der Bar war die ersten zwei Tage sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. An den letzten zwei Tagen war es den Bedienungen eher wichtig, sich unterhalten, als zu bedienen. Leider hat das Hotel keinen eigenen PKW-Parkplatz. Ein öffentlicher Parkplatz kann jedoch in der Nähe genutzt werden.

A great hotel located right across the Castle in the heart of Cardiff
Pros:

I ran the Half Marathon. The hotel perfectly met my expectations. Almost right on the finish line! Easy access to restaurants, shops, etc., also despite of some road closures, jumped to the taxi after the race and headed straight to the airport.

Cons:

Nothing.

It’s at city centre. Good breakfast buffet.

Cons:

Elevator was broken. That really slowed things down. Breakfast was chaotic as it was the city half marathon day. Which I’m assuming, the hotel Knew about. So, should have managed better.

Worst Hilton I've stayed at.
Pros:

Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Only 1 lift was working. Took ages to get in the lift due to amount of guests in hotel. We were on the 6th floor so had to walk up the stairs to get to room or wait 20 mins for the lift.
