Best place to stay in Cardiff
Pros:

Good breakfast. Great location. Spacious room.

Cons:

Large bathroom but only one small hook for all our towels. No coat hook in room so if we had come in with wet coats, would have to put them in wardrobe with clean dry clothes. Large low circular table uselessly took up floor space.

Renoviertes Hotel in super Stadtlage
Pros:

Neue Zimmer mit sehr komfortablen Bett und schönem neuen Bad. Die Lage war perfekt, gleich um die Ecke war Cardiff Castle und die Altstadt mit der Fußgängerzone. Vor der Ankunft haben wir um ein Zimmer gebeten, wo wir das Fenster öffnen können. Als wir im Zimmer ankamen, war das Fenster bereits geöffnet. Über diesen Service haben wir uns sehr gefreut und waren beeindruckt, dass das bei einem Hotel in dieser Größe auch funktioniert. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls neu und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist okay, jedoch kein Highlight. Die Qualität der Speisen hat uns leider nicht überzeugt.

Enttäuschender Besuch in der Hotelbar

Unser Besuch in der Hotelbar war leider sehr enttäuschend. Wir waren zu viert und wurden über einen längeren Zeitraum von keinem der Kellner beachtet. Obwohl die Bar nur etwa zu einem Drittel besetzt war und vier Mitarbeiter vor Ort waren, schienen diese eher miteinander beschäftigt zu sein, als sich um die Gäste zu kümmern.

Nachdem wir längere Zeit vergeblich auf eine Bedienung gewartet hatten, gingen wir selbst zur Bar, um um Service zu bitten. Doch selbst danach mussten wir erneut warten, bevor sich jemand um uns kümmerte.

Die Bedienung wirkte zudem unfreundlich, sodass wir uns während unseres Aufenthalts nicht willkommen oder wohlgefühlt haben. Ein derartiger Service entspricht aus unserer Sicht nicht den Erwartungen, die man an ein Hilton Hotel stellt. Sehr schade – wir hatten deutlich mehr erwartet.

Cons:

Charging me to enter the pool although i'm a Guest. And the breakfast cut backs are Shocking. 1 bowl for ketchup for about 200 guests is shocking, Terrible choice of foods. A big company making cut backs like this is appalling

Pros:

The location was perfect for us as we were attending a show in the new theatre.
The room was big and spacious the decor was lovely and the decor through out the hotel is also lovely.

Cons:

The noise in the night coming from the function room that's situated at the bottom of the rooms that went on til very late was super disappointing for us.
Probably wouldn't stay here again purely for this reason.
