Staff was very friendly
Convenient location, clean, large room with plenty of space. Friendly reception staff. Reasonable breakfast selection including omelet station.
Room is dated with very soft beds. Bathroom was clean but dated with cracks in wall. We had a problem on one night as the adjacent room seemed to have a number of teenagers sleeping in the room. My feeling was the parents were in one room and the teenagers were allowed to share a separate room. There were groups of children running past our room, banging on the door/window of the room next door, this started at 7pm and went on til midnight. The door on the room next door was left open with the security nib "out" so that people could come and go without a card. The door banged loudly every time someone entered or exited. Intermittently through the evening someone was bouncing a ball off the adjoining wall between the apartments. I went out at one point and asked them to keep the noise down but that had no effect. I then went to the reception area to complain about the noise and ask if they could speak to the parents. I saw the receptionist approach a group of adults who were sitting in the foyer but this had no effect on the teenagers and I did not see any parents/staff intervening.
Quiet
Out dated not a 4 star hotel for sure
I was very happy that they put me right near the elevators as I requested!
Location was down the street from UDEL...perfect for move-in weekend! Spacious bedroom and living room...both with their own TVs.
Overall cleanliness could have been better. Drapes had dried dirt/grease on them. Toilet seat hinges should be cleaned with the rest of the toilet. Some ceiling/wall cracks need obvious repair.
Nothing
Room was not clean and the staff at reception was super unfriendly. This hotel is not 4 stars.
The breakfast was good and the location perfect
none
Returned to the hotel after 10 day vacation drove from NC/ MA
I was staying at the hotel with my parents two rooms same floor. We got in at 6pm and were on the road by 11. At 9:30am the next morning a cleaning person opened my door after excessive knocking asking when I was leaving. I don’t understand why before check out at 11am we need to go into a persons room to ask when they will leave. They did the same thing to my parents next door. A huge invasion of privacy, if I was down at breakfast would they have just started packing my stuff for me? I was really disturbed by the lack of security and when I tried to explain to the employee I found she didn’t speak English.
See below.
I have celiac disease, and although the hotel offered options, the staff is not adequately trained.
When I asked about the hot food, they were certain the eggs and potatoes were gluten-free, but they were unsure about other items, such as the sausages.
As for the gluten-free bread, it was kept separate but lacked its own dedicated tongs; I even saw a staff member using the same pair of tongs to handle both the gluten-containing and gluten-free bread. Seeing that, I decided not to eat any bread, as I have a severe allergy and must avoid cross-contamination.
