The hotel has an excellent location.
The breakfast was disappointing. Considering the hotel promotes it as offering a "superb breakfast," I expected much more. The selection was very limited and far from what I would describe as superb.
It's conveniently located in the centre where there are many stores and restaurants, some 15-20 minutes walk from the pier. Hotel itself is alright, clean and looking nice. Staff is ready to assist 24/7. There's a nice cafe/bar at the hotel for a drink of snack, though it's only till 11PM I think. An ok stay for a night, especially if you're not with a car.
It's overlooking a road and a square where there's plenty of noise of traffic and loud music from cars and people. The room is small, so when the AC is on there's no escaping it blowing at you, which is unpleasant so we had to pre-cool the room and then turn it off for the night. Wasn't awful but got too hot by morning. Shower is tiny and in disprepair: door coming off and not closing properly, shower head dangling on a thread and leaky. Breakfast is edible but scarce and not very tasty: tough scramble lying open and heated so it's overcooked and withered; veggies is mostly tomatoes and cucumbers; no bread options, and generally low variety of anything; horrible instant coffee. Parking's hidden in an alley across the road and not manned on Sunday/evening so there's a certain running around with a keyfob to get in/return it. When it's manned it's alright, folks there are friendly and helpful, but getting to the hotel to offload bags is still hectic: you either park on the busy road with an emergency light on, or enter the pedestrian zone and block the entryway to it. I know locals do it all the time, but it's still wrong and I don't see why make guests to do it.
